This is the quietest this thread has ever been. I hope tyler gets his steel soon. I only have to park in downtown methistan for another week and I don't have to go back. Crossing fingers

Hey @Classy63 do you have any of the TRD PRO nut plate's in stock? I'm buying a set of your skids off of another member and I don't have the back two bolts on my TRD pro skid plate so I need the plates and I guess the 3/8 bolts to get them installed.

Man I know the feeling I waited 8 months for my Cats to be replaced after they were cut off. Then once Toyota installed the new exhaust (finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel) They notified me that my O2 sensor grounded itself to the frame after they cut the cats and it fried my ECU. Got her back last week… I’ve been beyond paranoid of where I park. I’m also hoping that steel comes in soon. It would be nice to have that peace of mind again….

You can certainly arrange local pickup when it is ready. Current lead time is around 6-8 weeks, but @Classy63 will have better timeline update. You can PM him as he checks that quicker than going through the forum pages.

Just trying to get a set of nut plates for the back 2 3/8 bolts on the TRD skid, not plates. Last time I was on his order page I didn't see a local pick up option but it was there just now. I will PM @Classy63 my order number right now.

Sorry. My bad..... early morning reading sure made my brains melt and this Houston traffic ain't helping....
But yea, PM him and he should get back to you about the local pickup and how to place an order. I know he usually works early morning to beat the heat and kinda stop and rest closer to mid-day.

Its all good! Yeah I'm out the door around 5:30 every morning to beat the crazy traffic around here. Thanks of the help though, I just sent a PM with my order number so hopefully he can take care of me sometime next week and I can get these skids I'm picking up today mounted asap. Going to need some protection next weekend when I run the gauntlet downtown for a Stro's game.

Loving it. Drove around for a bit, no noise no rattling nothing. As far as how it does? Never had someone attempt it, yet (knock on plate)
But yea, that piece does make me feel much more solid as the space is very tight and tools ain't gonna get in there without losing a finger or two.

Overall, for 2WD, get it. 4WD, I don't even know if it fits..... @Classy63 ?

Sweet. Yeah I was one of the 10 pre-orders so it won't be long. He is just waiting on hardware to arrive. There is definitely a large amount of room on the 2wd. It took me a descent amount of time to research protection for the 4Runner. I ended up getting a full set of CBI skids for it....better than nothing. No way in hell was I putting an aluminum plate from the other guy that was tacky looking on it.

I can't remember if you also have Tyler's front skid, but my Taco co-worker was really impressed today when I told him to take a look at the plates, I have the whole set, front skid, front and back and the vertical, it's like an armor suit under there. I am happy.

None related to the thread, but I am watching a USPS package going back to the shipper (north Vegas) and it was shipped out from me in Houston, TX and it is currently in FL?!

Hopefully not, although I've been waiting for a full steel set for my '16 since April as well. Regardless I might just go long tubes and tuck the factory cats safely in the basement. E85 burns clean anyways.
