    You got that right..
Tyler shipped my nut plate Monday.
FedEx should have delivered it Tuesday.

They have no idea what happened to it.
No fault of Tyler, it left Cypress Monday.
    So far 3 days to 251 miles.:eek2:

I'm sure it will show up in a day or 2.

Do you have any proof to validate your claims?

    Thank you, I'm fine though...
In the general span of life, I'm very blessed..
A good job (great insurance), great wife, great grown kids, a nervous dog, a nice home, and a paid-for Tundra (whenever I get it back).

I can still install my plates without the nut plate if I had to, if I were to get the truck.
I'd just send the nut plate back to Tyler to give to someone else.
Last I was told to get my truck back was mid-June and it's mid-June with no truck..

    Where is this from?

No specifics, nothing to show branding and no reference at all.
    Mmm, ok.

Talon plates. He did away with the notches that used to be in the bends.

Saying, talons plates is not reference material.

Post references, something showing where the statements were made or anything to show cause and affect or how the situation was handled.
    Anything.

Making baseless claims on a redesigned product is always the best source.:smack:

Wonder if there where any design changes or mishaps in this thread? Hm.

I would be the last person to defend talon’s but my aluminum plates have the stretch marks just like the pictures above. As for the chalking, this batch seemed to have some kinda water or chemical on it, most of the front cat plates have this. Again, not a big deal, easily polished out. These are sold bare, no extra expense is paid to buff or polish the plates

So, I made a mistake and added the spine and gussets to a 3/16 aluminum rear cat plate instead of a 1/4… so if anyone wanted to upgrade their 3/16 aluminum rear cat plate, let me know

I think I am going to price it at a $100 upgrade

Thank you for your honesty Tyler.
Where one may think it’s bashing, others see as inquiring.
    I appreciated the candor.

20220616_134326.jpgSo I finally got my plates. Ordered on February 10th, took 17 weeks to get. I can honestly tell you that I was asking for a refund if they weren't shipped. I was going to have to get them from somewheres because I was tired of worrying about my catalytic converters getting stolen. After so many missed shipping dates I was also worried if I had been taken for $600. Well I'm here to tell you it was worth the wait. My plates were bare steel and when I opened the box they were a little rusty, but with a little sanding they cleaned up good. Granted I am not a painter but no one will see them. I'm happy with the way they turned out and now I can quit worrying. I'm not here to make anyone mad, I'm just giving some honest feedback to Tyler. I have no clue as to what he us dealing with on get materials and I can only guess as to how many orders he gets.
The only thing I can suggest is maybe take a few orders, fill them and take some more. That may not be the best business practice, but at least you could get some rest. But I just want to say thank you @Classy63 for all your do.

I am very glad you are protected now. I am trying to fix my delays, I am already almost to April from being in February earlier this week. The only orders unfulfilled are front skid plate, lifted plates, or 22 plates. All of those will be filled as soon as I can. I am aiming to be through April next week. I know that still puts me a bit behind but I will be happy to be 3+ months closer

May want to consider turning off new orders till you can get caught up. I see lots of places doing that.

I will be catching up very quickly. The unfortunate good news of canceled orders is less orders to fill!

Really just a note on the webpage with the expected lead times. I really get annoyed when I order something online but then get an email telling me the lead time. Even if it says three month lead time, I'm happy to place an order because my expectations have been set for a delay

Another note, while I was on your page I DID NOT noticed the banner at the top saying 4 week lead time until after clicking on and off the page a few times. It disappears from the top when you scroll down. It'd be better to have it right next to the Buy or Add to Cart button

Sounds like the path of patience may yet pan out.

A week ago I was more like :goingcrazy: except not considering canceling, just looking at something temporary that I could remove and sell to another guy I know with a 2nd gen who might want it when the valhallas come in. Never did bite that bullet.

I still haven't figured how how you can stand to weld in that Texas heat... That's dedication right there

Install earlier today and sphincter tension is exponentially reduced. The $60 I spent to have the mechanic friend of mine put them in was well worth it!

Where is everyone getting their Tapered Domed Washers? Barnes has been out of them and everyone else is twice as much as Barnes.

@doggiecareman are you gonna fluid film your frame? The plates are gonna have to come down to get good coverage....I'm guessing. My buddy had his Tacoma frame replaced under warranty and had it fluid filmed, and I didn't see a spot of rust when wiring up his bumper pods. I'm getting mine coated before fall.

I forgot to add when mine were installed earlier today I gave him a full can of fluid film to spray on all the areas that were gonna be covered by the plates.

When I had them put the bedliner in my truck when I purchased it as well I had them fluid film the entire inside of the bed.

I won't need these for protection from thieves really, but after I lower the truck the lightweight aluminum ones would be pretty nice for protection from objects bouncing up off the road, and for show purposes

Just ordered a full set today. Am I likely to see them in the next six weeks? Selling my house and moving, so if ETA is 6+ weeks I will need to give you the new address.

Ideally the rear plate would be mounted under the front plate so it doesn't catch on anything.

Pay the price or do without..
    It's up to you..

I bought the medium for my pentagon bolts.
I would think the small for the Screwd 3/8 bolts.
