Valhalla’s Shield theft deterrent/skid plates info and ordering post

Do the front and rear cat plates fit a lifted truck (2/1 lift) and do they work with the factory OR package skid plate?

@Classy63 - Will your front and rear cat plates fit a 2020 CrewMax 4X4 with a 4 inch lift complete with control arm drop, steering rack drop, front diff drop, and center support bearing drop? This is for a co-worker that just replaced his totaled Tundra for this one and I've convinced him to protect his cats from theft. He really liked the plates on my truck when we showed them to him. Thank you!!!

Thank you! I'll try to get with them next week and get some pictures. It'll be on hot asphalt (today we hit 112°F in the shade) so they may be limited.

Everything fit great!
So glad I ordered the nut plate. Attempted to use the existing RCI bolts, just for fun, but there was no way.
Also regret not ordering the second plate.
I’ll be putting in another order.
Completely worth the wait.

 

Hey Tyler,I'm just wondering do you have a rough idea of where youre at with 1/8th bare steel orders getting out? Ordered first week of April and just looking for an approx. timeline.

Or if others who've ordered 1/8th steel in the new year care to answer that'd be appreciated

 

I ordered may 1st and reached out to him recently. He told me 8-10 weeks when I ordered and said he's still trying to maintain that time frame. I had 1/8" steel front and back powder coated black for my pro sequoia

 

Took 17(February 10th)weeks for mine to ship. They should be here Sunday or Monday.

 

How did the new nut plate work, any issues?

ORDER (R059071447) I placed my order in September of 2021. On November 18th you asked me about upgrading my Front skid plate to 3/16 aluminum for an additional charge which I paid. You have been promising me since Feb that it is going to ship and that my order would not be skipped. I have tried texting you and am no longer getting any responses. I am now sitting at 32 weeks (8 months) and people with less time have got their plates.

I know how hard you have been working and the quality of your work looks outstanding. I have tried to be patient and polite but I am getting frustrated. Is it possible to please get the plate shipped this month so I can have it installed on my truck or get a refund for the front skid plate plus the extra I paid to upgrade to aluminum?

Well my back plate showed up today and the front is supposed to be here tomorrow. So does all the hardware come with the front plate?

 

Mine did.
It's all in a little box taped inside the front plate packaging.
He actually shipped my front plate first then the rear..

I have a BDS 3" suspension lift and it was fine; if that counts?

Mine came with the front plate a well. Both front and rear were delivered together which was nice.

 

Mine also came on different days. Somehow FedEx separated them and they ended up on different trucks. It didn't matter in the end because I had to wait until the next weekend to get them on anyway. My hardware was packaged with the front plate.
@Classy63 did a great job of carefully boxing these up to prevent shipping damage! Both of mine arrived with zero damage. I'm thrilled with our decision to buy the Valhalla Shields with the Pentagon bolts and Hard Rock bolt domes!

 

My front 1/8 steel was 46 pounds, and the rear 22.

He shipped mine separately because the front was done before the rear.
At the time I wanted the front ASAP, so he sent it first.
The thought was I needed to have the front to put on as soon as I got my truck back from Toyota.
That was 3 months ago.
I still don't have my truck back yet..

I see where people sand the plates before painting them. What grit of sand paper would work best on the bare steel?

 

You have waited more than most, I have your plate welded up and it is shipping tomorrow, I have 4 aluminum front skid plates in my garage that are shipping tomorrow. You and another guy went for the upgrade when I announced the aluminum front skid plates. Both of you are getting your plates shipped tomorrow along with 2 others. I have more that are going to get welded by someone else because I don’t have enough time to do it anymore.

 

If I did I didn't know it.
