    Very nice.
I can't wait to get my truck back and get it installed.
Should look really nice with my TRD skid plate.
Just need my rear plate to be shipped and looking forward to the 2WD V3..

Ordered Feb 13..... Based on the latest wait times, I guess I have another week or so. :tumbleweed:
I also got the Skid plate along with Front and Rear Shields. Hope that does not delay anything.

that’s a long wait! I went ahead and ordered mine today even though I’m still waiting for my 22 platinum. Hopefully my truck and plates arise at the same time.

Today was the first time I have driven my truck since we installed the Valhalla Shields. I also gained a pleasant little surprise. There is noticeably less road noise transmitted through the cab. It is actually quieter in the truck now. Pretty cool, I think.

Has anyone that has the extended AMP Power Steps had a problem installing the Valhalla shields on their Tundra?

Not the extended AMPs but the regular AMPs (probably applies to both). It will work but I had a super annoying freak and rattle due to the plate side brackets touching one of the AMP brackets. They’re just really thick (mine are 1/4” Al). Tried grinding away an area for some extra clearance, which helped some, but I think I’m going to have Tyler swap the brackets out for thinner steel ones.

Wow, I guess I'll find out as well.
I've been flirting with the idea of removing my Amp steps and getting stationary steps again.
I had a lot fewer door dents from parking lot a-holes with solid steps..:eek2:

Thanks. Maybe I should look at mine to see how much clearance I am going to have. It would be better to maybe talk to Tyler to get a thinner plate BEFORE he sends out my order.

I always park away from everyone, but sure enough, someone will park right next to me and hit my door.
I had OEM tubes on my 2005 for 11 years and the only door dent I got was from a runaway grocery cart..
I had OEM tubes on my 2014 and never had a door dent until I got the Amp steps..
If park in a crowded lot, I'll set both steps down before I lock the truck.
    Just my experience..

If you have AMP steps, I would ask for thinner steel Z brackets. That's what I'm going to swap mine out with. It's too hard to get a grinder in there to shave off the 1/4" Al and no matter how much I take off, it still seems to rub and make noise on bumps and whatnot.

The 1/8 steel Z brackets are the fix for the AMP step clearance. Send me a message If you are having the issue. I don’t have any extra Z brackets, but I can get some made

I have the AMP steps and no real problem. The passenger side is close to the bracket bolt. Had to open a door and let the steps down to make the install easier.

I'm really looking forward to the arrival of my plates. I'm in south central Alaska and cat theft has gotten bad here too. Just today there was a vehicle rollover accident near my house and the State Troopers caught a guy trying to steal the cats off the wrecked vehicle. This was at 1 in the afternoon on one of the busiest roads in my area. Ballsy dude.

Epic level stupid right there. That is beyond low.

As of Sept 2021, cat theft is a felony in Texas. The law also requires recycling facilities to mark catalytic converters and take a thumbprint from the seller. The seller must provide documentation showing ownership of the vehicle the part came from.

Honestly.... that's not slowing them down in Texas. They get enough together and travel to Louisiana now to sell them to the recycling. All states need to hurry and jump on this law

No, it’s not slowing them down at all. I’m just glad it’s not a slap on the wrist here. But you’re right, other states need to adopt similar policies.

I’m glad people from other states are patronizing Tyler’s business. I was happy to send my business to a “local” company, especially with the level of product and customer service he is providing.

Was sitting in a parking lot in Irvine, CA, while waiting for someone. In the review I see a Prius being jacked up. It catches my attention, wondering if someone needs help with a tire change or what. Next thing I see is someone getting out of the back of the Honda Civic parked right next to it with a saw. Wow! It was 14:30 in broad daylight!!!! I jump out and ask, "what the bleep are you bleepers up to?" The two mice scurried back into the car and drove off, but not before I could snap a photo of their plate, and the front windshield decorated with Uber and Amazon Delivery stickers. LOL! Called the PD, and now I'm going in on Monday to pick this bleeper out of a line-up. I also called Uber to report their ass. If you can stop just one...........

Now I really can't wait for my plates!!!! LOL.

Wow! Good on you for stepping up & doing something - anything - to help someone you don't even know! Of course it's the principle of it all. Screw those thieves!

I'm so relieved that my shields are now installed!

We went grocery shopping the other day and it takes awhile because we only go every three or four weeks. The next day I noticed that my tire valve caps are gone. It's only vale stem caps but for cryin out loud, why would someone steal valve stem caps? I guess for some folks it's about just stealing something, whether it makes any sense or not.

Were they Al? I remember growing up (~12 years old) other kids in the neighborhood would always steal those. "Chromies" they called them...

They were the ones that came with my Fuel wheels. Thanks. I never thought about that. We never had any neighbors close enough to do that with and were never in town without our folks. If we were none of our folks had wheels fancy enough to have chrome valve stem caps.

Can't wait to get mine...120 day+ backorder on Tundra cats. I work for Walser Toyota in Bloomington MN and we have had a Lunar Rock Pro sitting behind our dealership waiting for its replacements and the guy traded it in instead of waiting for the replacements when he heard the backlog for cats. WTF...basically ruins several months of your trucks life and the plans you made with it for the summer. Ouch!
