Got my Valhalla's Shield set installed today - everything fit-up very nicely on my Gen2 RCSB 5.7L 4x4.
I did the complete package from front skid, all the way back - in 1/8" powder-coated steel.

Took three hours working alone - that's collecting tools, pulling the OEM skid, sorting out how to install, installing, putting tools away. Confident I could do it in under 90 minutes if I had to do it again, now that I understand the install sequence.

Super-happy with this purchase and am very impressed with the engineering that has gone into this product - gives cottage manufacturing a good name. Two thumbs-up here.

Hey classy 63 need a little bit of your time....I have been reading post after post after post. I need to know if this is plausible, front and rear plates powder coated black steel for 2018 tundra crewmax. I have sdhq sliders and rci front and tranny skids. I have already seen the issue with sdhq sliders , but havent been able to confirm fitment on rci.

    Thanks Robert

I just now ran into this thread. Is there an active “group buy” going on that I can jump on?

There is not a group buy for these. Just order and wait for them to be made. Well worth the wait.

The front will work with the RCI engine skid. Your transmission RCI skid will be removed and replaced with his plate.

Good question? Knowing a few pages back that orders in Nov just got filled.. I ordered mine the first week of Dec and still patiently waiting, but worth the wait... by one guy doing everthing from start to finish... Good luck.

I have ALOT of plates here, shipping them out is not going fast enough, yesterday it was taking care of other stuff besides shipping, today was an install and I will be going to install the 2022 plate. I want to ship a few out today still.

Here is a set of intense blue plates on a Readylift

Alrighty!!! I have been a busy boy today! I did ship a few orders, but I spent most of the day welding out the aluminum skid plates! I completely welded out one and dropped it off and some other plates to get powder coated red and white. I have all of the nuts welded on except 3… my last tip went bad… I have some on order from Amazon prime that should be here tomorrow, hopefully early enough I can finish welding the last 3 nuts and then weld all the posts on. I want to get these aluminum skid plates out!!! Looking through my orders, it looks like I will be shipping a lot of bare steel when I get back to packing plates up.

The bolts information on his website and in the first post here is confusing. So I didn't order any special hardware from him. I'll just go to Fastenal whenever the plates show up.

I offer some options, am I holding a gun to anyone saying you must use mine? Hell no, use whatever!
