I waited 3+ months for my two back plates, 2+ months for my front skid. But yea, when I got them (powder coated black) and asked Tyler to put them on for me, it is a wide smile knowing that I am at least having a piece of mind and sleeping better at night.
Granted, shipping/delivery these days are shot to hell.

I thought about driving down from Dallas and having him install mine when they are ready.
But I figured if I can install the TRD Pro skid by myself, I should be able to handle these plates OK..
It would probably cost more in gas and installation than the shipping charges.
He's busy enough getting orders done anyway..
Looking forward to getting mine on..

Text him/PM him and ask him, he's busy but he will try and make time for it.
Plus, think of it as a trip to Houston for plates and food (in that order)....
But yea, if you get the nut plate it would be a breeze, unless you are 4WD and have lifted kits and all that then I am not sure.....

The bolts are different. As of now, it will be 1/2x3.5 for all 4 bolts. I watched a video about how to install the new TRD plate and I think I will need to make a modification to fit it with the TRD, we will see all of this is so new…

So, I got the plates home last night, unloaded all that is staying here bare, took the rest this morning to powder coat and good god he will be busy for a while. I will get back to work shipping these after lunch. I made it to November 15th with aluminum orders (that don’t have front skid plates, I need to weld them up, but I also need to get stuff out). I think Friday or Saturday I will need welding the aluminum front skid plates. I am trying to convince myself to go kill some cones with my little car Sunday

Just discovered these last night and already placed my order for front and rear cat-theft plates!

    I already feel much better!

So, it is supposed to freeze in Houston, most of us are scarred from last year… I have moved enough plates for tomorrow to ship, currently it looks like I should make it to early December with what I have. There will been some that have plates at powder coat or need an aluminum front skid plate that are getting passed over for now until I get them welded/powder coated. I am not skipping anyone or forgetting anyone!!!

So I want to ship like this Friday aswell and hopefully knock out some aluminum welding this weekend. It is my son’s birthday Saturday and I am going racing Sunday, so we will see how it all shakes out.

Just got back from a 4,500 mile road-trip from CA to TN and back, I thank God that I still have my cats.
I looked, researched, shopped, watched and listened ... and after considering all the options I am officially in line for a set of Valhalla's Shields.
I really appreciate hearing all the feedback from everybody here. I have mad respect for a fellow self-employed Tundra guy that is doing his best with his business.
Not sure when you can ship these Tyler but we should stay in touch as my wife, daughter and I may be moved out of very CA soon.

No worries. Even if you were shipping mine out right NOW....FedEx/USPS/UPS are basically looking at my road (back road, all gravel) and laughing and driving on by. LOL

If you are moving, text/PM Tyler on your move and whereabouts, I am sure he can try and stay up-to-date of your shipping address, but I would not count on FedEx being that nice about it.....lol

That I can feel you. I have three Amazon trucks, two UPS trucks, two FedEx trucks and maybe a USPS large package trucks out here per day, and FedEx just likes to throw things around, as they tend to be pet food and/or pet supplies, which can be very heavy, but come on, that's why you have a dolly in the truck.

I was able to ship today, and I made it to December 1st with what I have now (yes there are orders older than that, but I either need to weld up something or it needs powder coat). I am going to be packing plates again tomorrow whether or not fed ex shuts down pick ups. I am going to try to force myself to make time to put together another order for both steel and aluminum.

Also, aluminum is getting cut locally now, still laser cut, but it will take the same amount of time that steel does now.

Also, I revamped the website a bit, made it a bit more user friendly and added the 2022 tundra cat plate

Guess what! I lowered aluminum prices! I re-evaluated all my prices with the updated costs and it made quite the difference!

If I remember correctly, I dropped the aluminum front cat plate $100, and dropped shipping $10. And the aluminum rear cat plate $125 and $20 for shipping

The V3 rear cat plate, I haven’t started on it yet. I have been pushing for the 2022 plate, and now that it is pretty much done, I am wanting to knock that out along with some other projects

How about a front skid plate with a removable panel for the oil change so I can buy all 3 from you at once?!?

My front skid plate had a removable panel for access to the oil filter, a cut out for the oil pan drain and a removable panel to access the front diff for service

I firmly believe these shields work. Was traveling this week and discovered my hood bulge was pried up. My theory is they saw the shields and thought if they could get under the hood, they may be able to cut the pipe at the manifold and then pull the cats and pope out the rear of the plates. Quickly realized they couldn’t get under the hood from the Bulge.

I had a feeling something new might be coming!

The more I think about my overall plan for off-road drivetrain protection I think I might just get your whole Valhalla system in the thicker aluminum from the front skid all the way back to the rear cat protector. The TRD front skid is ok but I sure don't like the way it is mounted, kind of a pain when you make suspension changes, like the kind I night do soon. ;)
