TelemarkTumalo you are so RIGHT with that posting, it took 2 weeks to go 12 miles, and assistance from 3 folks at USPS, only to show up with no explanation as to why :)

Yeah, I never quite understood why sponsored Lance Armstrong back in the day or really any of the advertising they do. It seems like the money would be better spent putting it back into their infrastructure.

it wasn’t just Lance Armstrong, but the USPS was the primary sponsor for the largest US pro cycling team (a private group) millions and millions were given

Has anyone had experience with SurePost? If you think think UPS and USPS is bad, some genius came up with a fiasco that uses the worst of both shippers. I cringe anytime I find out something is going to get shipped that way. It takes longer and the package is usually very well battered from the careless handling that's inflicted. I think those bastards kicked the damn package across the country.

My wife caught UPS trying to lie as well. We both work from home but I was away. She heard the truck pull up and walked to the door. Homie walked up to the door, didn't knock, and immediately started filling out one of those "no one is home" slips they leave on the door. She yelled at the guy as he was walking away and he tried to BS her about it. Idiots.

Atleast some of these orders showed up. I have been waiting a month for an order from Grunt Style for black Friday deals. Out of 5 items I ordered they sent 1. Looked at my account and it said the rest are being refunded because we cannot fulfill the orders we took.

I ordered a Fitbit versa 3 for my wife for Christmas on November 28th. Shipped the 29th. Arrived at local post office December 5 and stalled there. Fitbit finally agreed to ship a replacement last week via 2 day shipping. Well that is now stalled in the shipment process too. So doesn’t look like I will have her present to give her tomorrow......

Horrible!!! Ordered oem oil filters from dealership in Florida via Amazon. Once the tracking hit usps it didn’t move for ten days. I try to avoid shipping through them if possible.

Ordered some trigger bars from the Glock Store in San Diego the week before Thanksgiving. They shipped USPS on 11/23, somehow ended up in Memphis, where they sat for over 2 weeks, and finally arrived here in Oregon almost a month later (12/21). Kudos to the Glock Store who had issued a replacement order, assuming the package had been lost in Memphis, until I notified them of their arrival.

Same as the rest, my control arms shipped on the 14th, supposed to be delivered the 19th now stuck in limbo. And they’re only coming from two states away! Blows because I’m waiting on them to install my lift.

Unfortunately they’re using the same COVID cop out everyone else is using, they should have been better prepared especially in light of how the entire year has gone.

We are lucky, our normal UPS guy is amazing. He's like one of those guys you see the neighborhoods celebrating. A great guy and he'll leave packages with my wife at work if I'm not home. Fed Ex around here seems pretty good. Our normal postal lady is horrible (as previously mentioned) - wicked, mean, and nasty. We all get excited when she's not in. Hopefully she'll be retiring soon.

I just wish I could have the idiots responsible for not delivering something ordered FOUR WEEKS AGO from a few states away explain to my 4 year old niece why her Christmas present is not available on Christmas! USPS has a few (VERY few) really good people out of the millions they employ. Apparently none of them have been involved with this shipment!

PRE-scamdemic it took an entire week for a birthday card to go across town (50,000 people...not a real big city) to my niece.
However it took only 3 days to get a card across 4 states to a buddy in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Any wonder why most places only ship with non-USPS carriers?! Inconsistency...

    Ok... ok.

I have to give USPS credit.
Because of a number of packages being in usps never never land, I received a bunch of credits on items that were not delivered.

A number of these packages had been in transit since August and September and replaced by other means.

Tonight, I return home from a family trip to find a jackpot of goods that usps had absolutely stuffed in my mailbox and left on my front porch.

Now to go through what I no longer need.

    :burp:

    USPS is a joke IMO.

Just like the OP, I've had packages disappear just to suddenly reappear according to the USPS tracking.
Also shipping time has been an absolute joke!

The package that should have arrived on the 16th is still in transit... I think it's buried under a pile of ballots in Atlanta.

My package that was a week late indicated 'out for delivery' on 12/23. It turns out that it went to the wrong local post office and was not delivered. They sent it back to the distribution center on the other end of the county. It has been 'in transit' back to my town since 12/26. Fortunately, this was a Christmas present to myself so I can wait.

Well, they said the new guy in charge was going to improve the efficiency... Doesn't get more efficient than being able to ship to the future... Maybe they got smart and hired @Marty McFly to consult.
