    Now I have to go out to my truck. I never notice the A/C come on when I hit sync.

    Mine does the same when I use the Auto setting and Sync. I think it uses heat and A/C to arrive at the temp. I dial in.

    Yeah, mine is typically on Auto, which triggers the Sync and A/C.

    I honestly don’t know if it makes a difference on the heat output, but Toyota engineers thought it was appropriate. :typing:
    Then again, Toyota engineers thought the turn signals were bright enough on late model Tundras.
