On this oil change interval, my wife and I took a vacation to Big Bend NP and Guadalupe Mountains NP. We towed a 5000 lb trailer through the West Texas mountains in some of the most brutal heat possible. We also did some really cool 4 wheeling at Big Bend. Looks like the oil and the engine did just fine.

Went on the wild side with Super Tech!!

Sounds like a healthy report to me.

TBN or TAN might be useful if I were interested in extending my oil change interval. I am not so I didn't see the point in it.

Interesting even with 10/30 they say it's a little thin viscosity wise

    Thanks for posting this

Whatever this forum told me to do
    understood.

    I only go 5k.

The TBN tells me how much life is left.

    Ex..Kirklands 0w-20 still had a 4.6 tbn after 5k miles. Pennzoil PUP was 4.8 after 5k.

all my wear metals were fine.
