Has anyone upgraded the fan or motor for their seats? I know the 4Runner is stronger as you can audibly hear the fan on the higher settings. Any swaps out there?

I've found complaints threads but no mention of upgrades. Thoughts?

    Interested in this as well...
I can hear the fan on the Expy but cannot hear on the Tundra. Or feel it, (that's what she said)

How much does the 4Runner fan cost? I heard of this as well, but haven't found the time to research it.

I can hear the fan on mine. Would still like it to be stronger but I do hear it.

Good thought though it might need the motor too. Is there a good searchable database for Yoder parts?

I didn’t buy mine with leather, but am looking at doing the katzkin with degreez heating and cooling system.

@Roman will probably have the answer and the best price

Anyone find an answer to this? I bought the platinum specifically for the cooled seat option and I can barely tell when it is on.

Nothing yet. I've been putting my $ towards other mods first. This is on my list if the 4Runner one isn't too expensive.

Is it confirmed that the 4runner one is a drop in replacement? So what component makes it better? I've witnessed the performance difference but I don't know why.

Nope. Pure speculation. Roman sent me the parts breakdown but that doesn’t really help too much without having both side by side.

So this is NOT a fix but just a way to better "feel" the seats. When you want AC seats put your mode to dash vents AND under seat vents. The fan will pick up this cold air and send it your butt's way. Still doesn't fix the lack of volume BUT it does make it more noticable.

Totally agree about ac direction. You can hear the 4runner ventilation. It sounds like it will suck you into the seat. No one has taken the time to see if the tundra's system can be upgraded accordingly.
