This is the one I used for the front. There are a lot of mounting options available but it’ll depend on your grille

Where are you guys running the gps antennae to? Just pulled everything out the box and trying to get stuff in the right places.

Do you have a stock GPS antenna? I used the STO2 adapter pack to retain the factory GPS/SXM antennae

The stock one should be stuck to the underside of the dash towards the front left of the truck. If you don't have one, there should be a spot in that area that will work.

I currently have Sirius xm, so would that mean I have a gps antennae? Sorry electronics is not my thing. I’m already overwhelmed but the amount of wires I pulled out of the box.

You more than likely do. I can't remember what the connector color is, but it's one of the single cables coming down from the top of the dash. I'll see if I can find a pic.

Just go slow - there are a lot of wires, but once you find the ones you need for your install, it's not too bad. If you have any questions about it, just snap a pic and post it here and one of us should be able to point you in the right direction.

Appreciate it, fellas. So I noticed you guys got the TO2. Crutchfield de t me the PI01. Hope it’s right.

Had to go get my daughter from camp so I’m gonna tackle this after lunch. I’ll post if I need some help.

The sTO1 is just the satellite radio antenna adapter, not the other 2 that @panicman showed. It's not a huge deal, as you can just use your aftermarket GPS antenna instead.

What’s the consensus on install; install the unit without the screen or have it all together and install?

Also, Crutchfield said to mount the gps antennae and xm antennae on the dash, which I really don’t want to do. Any success with mounting it underneath without any troubles?

Alright got everything in. Couple of issues so far. I have no backup camera. My miles to empty in my cluster display shows low fuel even though I just filled up. Any ideas?

Remind me what HU you are installing? Look for a camera interrupt option in the setup menu and make sure it’s selected. You can also look for a camera menu to see if you can manually pull it up and see if your connection is good.

It’s the Pioneer 7600NEX. I went through the basic settings and didn’t see anything. The camera input was on.

Assuming you connected the adapter to the factory harness and plugged it into the RCA…
I’ll pull up that menu on mine in a sec.

When I hit menu then setup I get a camera option. Then I can get to the interruption option.
Assuming all that checks out - check the purple and white wire on the harness.

Ok I’ll check the settings in the morning. I’m done for the night lol.

I don’t recall plugging in an rca connection, so that could be the issue. I just don’t recall there being a spot for an rca connection, but it was a long, hot day so it’s all fuzzy right now. Thank you for the suggestions, I’ll report back tomorrow. Gotta be at the firehouse tomorrow, so if I get some downtime there I’ll pull it back out.

It’s the brown one I think. One of the yellows can be used for the front cam input.

What steering wheel control kit did you end up using? I think Crutchfield does the Crux for free, but a lot of us opted to upgrade to the Maestro RR. Either way, there should be an RCA for the rear camera on it

Yeah I definitely didn’t plug in an rca, so that’s gotta be it. Thank you guys for the help. So am I plugging in the brown rca to something off the factory harness?

@TRDFerguson I got the Maestro RR with TO2 harness.

There should be an RCA on the Maestro harness marked rear camera or backup camera that you would plug into the brown rca from the head unit.

Good call on going with the Maestro. You won’t be missing any features from the stock head unit.

Ok cool. I’ll pull it tomorrow or Saturday and check.

Would you happen to have any thoughts on why my fuel level shows “low fuel” in my cluster display? I flashed the Maestro before installing. Is there something else I need to do? I can also call their tech support tomorrow if needed.

Try disconnecting your battery for 10-15 mins. I remember something weird happening to my truck like that but it was a couple years ago and removing power for a bit cleared it up.

Alright so I pulled it back out and connected the rca connections that were labeled for the backup camera. Still nothing. So I traced the wire back and found this plug not plugged into anything. Does this plug into the white plug with an adaptor? Did I miss a step?

It is so hard to know from a picture.

that looks like the small harness that plugs into the Maestro, as in my bench photo of the harness mated to the maestro:
