Updating the navigation map card?

    I currently have a 2014 with the navigation unit. How do I go about updating the map card?

    I bought one off eBay. Just need to do a little research on the old interwebs and get the correct part # for the current SD card. Plenty of sellers will say it's the newest when in fact it's a few years old.

    I believe the part number is 86271-0E072, according to "Cool Springs Toyota," but you may have to look up the older part.
    According to Cool Springs, this should replace all the following: 86271-0E070, 86271-0E071, 86271-0E180, 86271-0E181, 86271-0E182, 86271-0E183, 86271-0E184, 86271-0E185, 86271-35010, 86271-35011, 86271-35012, 86271-35013, 86271-35014, 86271-35015.

    I have a 2007 Doublecab with a navigation CD. Toyota wanted somewhere around $285 for an updated one. That's when I learned never to pay extra for built-in navigation and will stick with phone navigation apps.

    I had a 2017 and bought an update SD card off ebay for $30, worked perfectly. You just need to research the part # to make sure you get the right one.
