@Beau are you still using it till this day, my biggest concern is if it dosent work how could you start the car again? Would you just pull out the broken key from the ignition & use your normal spare key to start it?

@Kenkis1 2019 1794. I know 18+ has different wiring than yours. There's another post on here with push start on older. Mine was the same as OP

I’m still using it and it works flawlessly. One of my favorite mods, for sure!

Sorry for the zombie thread but I was curious if anyone is using this setup with a Start-X remote start, i was just curious if it still allowed that to work like it should. I read on here something about it sets the alarm off unless you unlock door first but that may have been referencing use with the factory remote start. the start-X unlocks the doors, starts the truck, then locks the doors again. So i assume there shouldnt be any issues.

I know this is old post but was hoping someone might chime in. I did install on my 2018 limited and got everything working except only the driver door unlocks and have to push button on key fob to unlock the rest. Iplayed with dip switches and can't seem to get a double pulse from easyguard unit for unlock. Hopefully someone can help. Thank you.

It’s been a while since the install but I remember the dip switch had to be set correctly for all doors to unlock. If the dip switch doesn’t change the pulsing, it could be a bad module….maybe. IDK?
Update too….still going strong and one of the best features on this old beast!
    Good luck!

@Beau thanks for the reply. Yeah dip switch 3 makes no difference in pulse and tried combinations of other switches. Waiting for email reply from easyguard. They've been really good at responding to questions. Hope to get it working all four doors. Always got my hands full with kids and tired of reaching for keys. I'll update after I hear from easyguard.

never got the door locks fully figured out. i decided to fully install and then was going to try taping in to the passenger lock to get all four working but ran into a new problem. after fully installing button and putting in cut key and chip near ignition cylinder the immobilizer resets and it wants to see the key removed and reinstalled. after sitting about 15 minutes it will no longer start and theft light starts flashing again. its like a dual authentication for the immobilizer. i don't think using a immobilizer module would change anything. if i leave the key inserted and try and just move the chip away and back it still doesn't start. not until key is removed and re inserted. i really wanted this to work on my 18 tundra. i could probably put a switch on the wire for the key insert but i want get in and drive and be able to hand someone the remote and it work flawlessly for them. if someone has come up with a fix or a system that works as it should let me know.

Reviving this thread because I just did the install on a 2015 SR. Bought used and don't think it came with factory fobs. I have a remote start Viper with SmartStart installed but the key fob 1/4 mile range sucked and was more like 10' range. I discovered this thread and loved the thought of walking up to the vehicle and having it unlock so I ordered the EasyGuard a few months ago but finally go around to the install. I had a few issues with the unlock but finally got it working...somewhat. This situation applies to both PKE unlock and manual unlock:
    1. So the lock works fine but the unlock refuses to work if the door is closed and the truck is off.
    2. Unlock will work if the truck is off and the door is open
    3. Unlock will work if the truck is started with the EasyGuard Fob
    4. Unlock will not work if started with the phone through SmartStart/carlink
If anyone can shed some light, it would be much appreciated. I tapped into the pink and light green wires on the NJ2 connector behind the driver kick panel for the central door unlocks.
