Seems folks will go crazy trying to save $2500, but end up spending 50% more than they could have just for cosmetic features and a tiny bit of performance.

IMO if cash is that tight where a few grand matters you shouldn't be even buying a 40-60K depreciating asset, but what the hell do I know

Also, TRD alone is not a trim, but it is part of the TRD Sport and TRD Off Road trims on other Toyota vehicles. The Tundra is the odd duck on that one. Go look at Tacomas, 4Runners, RAV4 and even the Camry.

A year ago we didn't have any premium tundras in supply... All were either sold, per reserved or sold over msrp.
