Crew cab is cool but the small bed infuriated me when I had one. Need the 6.5 bed when I use the bed.

Gator hunting and fishing with the family. I success snagging a gator saw them but couldn’t get the hook on them. No baiting in Georgia.

How's Pensacola treating you? Nothing new here really other than a security forces guy that just found his way to a few years in prison.

I’ve got a “train horn”, compressor, and relay panels but I’m in the middle of a course in the military and it’s eating my soul for free time.

How’s it ride? I’ve debated the Eibach setup but the 2.0 part scares me being small for a heavy truck.

Personally having had a 19 with 2.5 alumas it’s ok at best. All four corners from eichbach was 1k though. I will be going back to Toytec alumas in the future.

TRD PRO sway bar and RCI engine and trans skids added. Might pull the trigger on ToyTec Alumas too.

Nice truck! Like the mods you have done so far. Very tasteful and subtle. Question for you- why did you decide to get out of the rams and how does your current cab compare to the old ram crew cabs you had ? I'm in the same boat as you were a while ago. Do i get a Ram or get a Tundra? I've been a toyota guy forever and know there is no more reliable truck. But I also like the Ram truck interiors a bit more and feel like they offer more features. But we also know Chrysler electronics probably wont go the distance like Toyota ones will :) Dont know if I would be confident in my Ram truck in 10 years versus a Tundra. But we also know the Tundra gets the same mpg as a powerwagon :) Just curious to hear your thoughts as someone who has owned both

Well 2/3 of my rams were 2004.5 and 2005 5.9 Cummins great trucks I’m my opinion if you can repair your own rig. The power wagon was cool, but for a 3/4 ton kinda useless and the 66rfe blows. The new zf8 trans is a different story. Overall I feel way more confident longevity in my tundra than anything else.

Ahh ok :) Now I understand. You had 3rd gens. I too currently have a 2006 2500 3rd gen and that quad cab design has basically the same leg room as the tundra double cab. I for some reason was thinking you had 4th gen rams which have a much better ride/interior quality to them :) But I totally agree with you, I am way more confident in the tundras longevity that any domesitic band platform. While the domestics may have dont a better job of updating their interior features/comfort along the way, the tundra is simpler and therefore has less to break. Thanks for answering my question and I am following along to see where your build goes.

I had a 2017 power wagon for a little too, but still hemi tick, 66 rfe, and having to drop 500 bucks to make the lockers and sway bar actually work was infuriating. Had I to do it over again I would have kept that truck but….. trying to keep a ex-wife happy and the Covid market hit.

My 5.7 doesnt have the tick and has 170,xxx on it. It's also a non mds model ( heavy duty 2500) which is cool. But i hear you on spending money when stupid stuff breaks. It's absolutley infuriorating especially when you konw toyota's dont break like that. Toyota has ruined me to all the other brands and their reliability :) Thats why I cant wait to be back in one. You just cant beat a Yota. It is a bit frustrating the amount of suspension support that the domestics have from places like CJC offroad. They dont really have much for Yota but hopefully the aftermarket will respond with more suspesion products for the tundras that focus on ride quality and suspension travel like Carli and Thuren do for Ram.
