In an area where it is not uncommon, I have never seen it on a Tundra and only seen one posted about in another part of the state.

It's the internet. Telling everyone else they're wrong and instructing them how they should be living their life is just what you're supposed to do.

Get this thread back on topic. Gonna really roast with my list:

Double cabs. Just gonna say it. I hate them. Ok hate is a strong word but I dislike them. I get that this is more of a practical thing but I just think they don't look right. And for me I got a tundra for room. And They just don't have the room! But it's a trade off for more bed space. Gimme the room inside with a reasonable bed. I love my crewmax!

1974 edition. I like that there is a premium trim but this just screams old man to me. I don't like the color of the interior and I really dislike the badge font:p

4.6 liter. Why even settle for a smaller motor in a truck?

Lifts over 3 inches. Really, monster trucks are cool if they are monster trucks. But they look a little silly on the road. Not my thing.

20 inch wheels. Ok so ive even got 20s on my truck. They ride harsh and imo they just took too big. Anything larger than 18s on the tundra is just wrong imo.

Chinese wheels. I've said it before. I think alot of us are proud to have USA built trucks then we go buy Chinese wheels to out on them. I admit just about every aftermarket wheel I like is china made. This is more of a rant but why can't we have more USA quality wheels?

And finally guys this is more of a roast, all in fun. Don't anyone get offended here :D

I would have gotten a double cab for the bed space if my wife and I weren't planning to have 2 kids in the next few years (she's working on our first now). I agree - why can't they make the CM cab a bit shorter and put that space into the bed?

1794 has a similar colour scheme to the Chevy High Country and one of the Ram trims if I remember correctly so obviously somebody likes it. Not only old guys either. I know a guy my age (early 30s) with a High Country. But he's a farmer; maybe that's the target audience?

I like the idea of 18s but I've decided I don't like the ones on my SR5 as much as I thought I did. Now I'm trying to decide if I can justify the cost and fuel economy hit to go with 20s for my winter wheels and tires when I get them. Or even putting winter tires on these 18s, selling the Bridgestone Dueller H/Ts and getting 20" summer wheels and tires. But you're right that 18s are better for towing and rough roads and such (no off roading for me). Screw it, maybe I'll stick with the 18s for a while.

Definitely column shifter. Never had a prob selecting auto gears, but what I really miss was getting out of someplace in a hurry: that drop from R to Lo was straight shot and instant. Made me feel like a Secret Service agent in a full size Suburban.
I have a hard time with anything that starts with word 'nonfunctional', like my hood scoop.
Full width power window should be avail on any configuration.

I have just the opposite opinion. I'd like a DC with a long bed. The only reason I didn't get one is because it would be more difficult to park some of the places I go.

Column shifter is necessary for a proper Rockford.

May I inquire as to your concern with camper shells? Not trying to get defensive, just wondering if I made a bad decision on my first truck.

I agree with you about everything else except I don't have anything against blue. It's just not my style.

I'm in the camp that its your truck, and you should do what you like to it....America.:oldglory:On the other hand, i think that i can also laugh at people who put on these ridiculous tire/rim combos that stick out a foot past your fender. It looks awful, just stop it! ..Thank you. :)

Nothing wrong if you really neeeed it. Probably you did a good choice. Its just the look of the truck gets weird.
Same feeling with the blue. Not my taste.
Again all these listed items are based on likes, wants and needs. Nothing personal.

Yeah, u could not have describe it better, “Looks like wet primer.”. Mayne thats the look they like. BMW and Porsche got that color (Nardi Gray) about 5 years ago. I could not believe how they thought someone would buy a car in that color. Again likes and wants.
