Sorry, my wife and I just had a bad experience with a jackass at Lowe's who was really rude in front of his son after I was nothing but polite.

I hear you about how people are jackasses. It's not hard to just stay a little further apart from strangers. If you wanna be locked arm with people you know, fine, but stay away from anybody else that doesn't invite you into their personal space. That should honestly be the norm even when there isn't a plague. Basic common courtesy. Some of us don't like people and don't want to be close to strangers.

 

Agree about Clapton, but I think he shares that title with Springsteen. Also agree about Arnie.

 

Yeah, that's pretty much what my wife said. This guy was way too close to me even if we weren't social distancing.

 

Once you use it you'll know why people want it so bad. Not only does it just look cool, it is very functional. When it's down the air circulates so nicely and creates a nice vortex around your feet, and when it's open along with a front it is so quiet, you can easily have a conversation with someone without raising your voice. Toyota hit a home run with that roll down back window.

 

This is so true. It's something that I never thought would matter, but now that I have it I would be very reluctant to give it up.

Honestly, if I lived in TX it wouldn't see much use either. Way to hot down there for anything but good ol' AC.

Your "winters" kill me. Visited my sister in San Antonio for Thanksgiving one year. Was 86 degrees at the end of November.

 

Yeah. I know. Spent Thanksgiving one year on the beach. And I got in the water...

 

And they have the audacity to put up signs like "caution: bridge deck could freeze."

 

Yeah I don't know what that's about. I've only seen one hard freeze down here and it was over 20 years ago

We get that too, but it's -20 outside when it does it.

 

I tilt my sunroof up and crack the rear window down a bit. It makes a perfect cooling air current without the noise of having my side windows down or the AC fan cranked. Great for on the highway.

It was 93 F today and so humid that the truck ac vents sweat if you have the windows down.
