Opinion: people spend waaaaaaay too much money on lights.

While I fully agree that lighting is critical, >90% of owners use their lights less than 10 hours a year and the money they spend on high-end lighting (vs cheap and cheerful) is better spent on other equipment.

For example, a Cali-raised light bar at $250 is a much better investment for most people than a Rigid or similar for multiple times the cost.

That looks good. I could see using the lights for that. Especially if you camp often.

I'm gonna disagree with you partially on that. I find the CFL dry. The players don't have nearly the talent, size or speed as NFL players. I've rarely seen the level of great plays in the CFL that I do in the NFL. Too many CFL games are run, short throw, punt. NFL games have better runs and longer passes.

I will agree that the NFL needs to scale back it's timeouts.

I want to clarify, are you talking TV timeouts for commercials or the actual number of timeouts a team gets?

From what I've watched of each league, CFL players seem to put in more effort. I think that's the 3 downs vs. 4. I've never seen an NFL player break a tackle or try to fight for that extra yard. All the running backs and receivers seem to fall over at the slightest touch.

Also, the field is too narrow and the end zone is too small with the uprights in the wrong place.

I also find it interesting that the NFL has the better quarterbacks since it seems to be more of a running game. If you can get 3 yards a carry, you're never in danger of having to punt.

In the end, I suspect it's about what you grow up with and get used to. My parents love the CFL so that's probably why I do too.

I was talking about the number of timeouts a team gets. They can drag out the last few minutes of game time into half an hour of real time while I'm sitting there waiting for the game or show I'm actually interested in to start.

    The number each team gets.

I've seen a ton of broken tackles. Tyler Lockett on the Seahawks for example breaks quite a few each game it seams. More often than not, it takes 2 or 3 guys to stop a runningback or lineman who is pushing through the line.

I grew up on the CFL, half my family are Lions fans and the other half are stubble jumping combine pilots who wear watermelons on their heads. I am the former. :D I got into watching the NFL about 10 years ago when I had a roommate who was a big Raiders fan. I still watch the CFL but not like I used to.

To each their own though. I'm probably the only Canadian who gets bored watching hockey so there's that...

Yeah, I don't think I could ever tire of hockey. The only thing that keeps me from watching a game is bad announcers, particularly on an American network.

The Riders used to be my second favourite team until they stole Chris Jones and half our coaches. Then they dropped to my second least favourite. Now that he's left them, they're back up to third.

Gotta have that stuffed look. Tire goes in the fender well, not below it.

When your truck is sitting on top of your tires "swing and a miss".

Truth - spending more money on a quality tail light from Recon is better than taking the cheap route on a substandard setup.

    1. Any lift over 3-4 inches, especially if it involves spacers or does not increase suspension travel is a complete waste of money and ruins your truck.
    2. Guns are good.
    3. Spending thousands to modify a truck your bank still owns is ridiculous.
    4. I am going to stop here before I get myself into trouble

    Unpopular but truth-ier?

Spending any money to replace OEM taillights is pointless unless you physically broke the originals.

3 and 5 are correct. As to number 1, does that include Hitler's National Socialist party?
    2 is correct.

Well if it’s gonna get nuked, I’ve got some more...

    • The Tundra twerking video is hilarious.
    • One person having a right to someone else’s work, time, or money is the definition of slavery.
    • No one deserves special treatment based on any category of immutable characteristic they fall into.
    • 2014+ Tundras are still 2nd gen.
    • TRD Pros and Sports look like they have two hood scoops.

The F150 ecoboost is a great truck to drive. If the next Tundra can match it in performance and technology and add Toyota quality into the mix, it will be the best in the segment again like it was way back in 2007.

Never driven one. But if the next Tundra can match a T1 GM (or even a K2) in capability and fuel economy while maintaining that Toyota reliability, we'll have a winner.
