First year Pro Tundra was available was 2015.
Bought a used truck with unknown history and multiple previous owners.
Had pre-existing problems made worse by negligence and ultimately leading to failure.
I’m not sure we’re not getting trolled.
If you are for real, sorry for your trouble and welcome aboard. Post some pictures

That just sounds like neither you nor the two POs replaced the accessory belt as preventative maintenance, and it failed. Also water pumps commonly fail at or before that age/mileage. Small issues and both are considered wear and tear items.

    "Reliable" doesn't mean "maintenance free".

What did you learn from the inspection and test drive BEFORE you purchased your '07?

I to have a 2007 5.7, I purchased with 270,00 miles on it... I am the 4th owner. There was no history of any problems in the CarFax report, and there was Zero history of any dealer service. I inspected it myself during an extended test drive before buying it. I then had every single shop (including my local dealer) perform their inspection as I brought all of the service & maintenance up to date. I have had it for almost a year, it is about to hit 280k... the only surprise repair I have encountered is when the fuel pump died.

Good luck with you Tundra truck.

Not sure if I'd go for a different brand based on getting an 11-year-old truck that had been sitting on a dealer lot for two months. If you decide to have it towed, make sure the driver watches out for mailboxes and cliffs, and keep it under 90 mph.

I have a 2008, the 3rd owner at 114K miles and I LOVE my ToyUndra.

thanks to EBAYS pricing, a small collection of house tools, YouTube and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the folks in these forums!!!!!!

Maybe if you had a bit of some home tools and skill set, find a few YouTube threads, sent us a shout-out for help on a fix, your fixes could have gone from $1200+, to a few dollars!!!!!! AKA = DIY

Most of us are BORED STIFF OWNING A TUNDRA AS THERES LITTLE OR NOTHING to fix. If you don’t believe it, look at the daily new post which Are usually:

    - how do I wax my lawnmower
    - where do we add blinker oil?
    - why is my dog always so happy
    - etc, etc

    Vs.

    - fix this, fix that, fix fix fix help help

Get them few repairs done, then watch the fruit of your toil work for you. Am sure that (special) partner of yours, when you first met (him/her), you had to spend a few extra $$$$ to impress...... so same here.......

    Go impress your tundra!!!!!

Yeah, go buy a Chevy truck. I had a 1999 Camaro Z28, LS1 V8/4l60e automatic, similar setup to later year chevy trucks. #1 Serpentine belt chirp. Finally figured out it wasn't the belt, it was the tensioner pulley. Replaced it with a GM part, it started chirping 6 months later. Read about the problem on the forums, learn that said tensioner pulley wasn't packed with enough grease from the factory. Pull rubber seals off, pack with more grease, no problems. Pulley was a great design, its just that GM low bids everything to where it didn't have enough grease from the factory.

#2 Good luck with that POS 4L60e transmission. These things are a wear item on the F-body LS1 Camaro/Trans Am, they fail between 100k-150k. $1900 repair on my car at 105k when 3rd and 4th gear started slipping. I've read they aren't very strong in the 1/2 ton pickups either, tow heavy with them and they fly apart.

........your intro / 1st ever post to the forum started with a sour subject....

...... then you purchased a tundra, THEN afterward went online to find out what the problems associated with it???????!!

    2007 are Super Lemoms????
....add water and sugar, then what do you have???? Aka YouTube, Ebay, DIY.....

.....then Big Shout Out to Subaru in your closing sentence????

..... predicted so many tow and losses this year???
    Yet you bought a 5.7, V8
