So I am about to pull the trigger on the Undercover Swingcase but looking on Amazon and other sites there are cheaper options - and the boxes all look the same with the same measurements. My assumption is they are all made at one facility and then sold accordingly.

Is there, in your opinions any reason to spend an extra $70 for the name brand Undercover vs a non name brand case?

From my research I do not see a difference but wanted to reach out to the community before moving forward...

Unless Undercover recently added a specific option for a 1st gen Tundra, they don’t fit w/o modification. I think it was @Casper421 that modified one to make it fit.

As for you actual question, I’ve never seen the knock-off’s so i can’t speak to whether they’re as well-made as the Undercover.

Thanks for the replies! I ordered a cheaper version (though I believe they all come from the same mold) and will report back in a week or so.

How are they holding up? Got a link or name for the ones you bought? Thinking about ordering some, myself.
