I have had them for a year and love them. I store roughly 40 lbs in each one and have held up nicely. I do have a cover so no warping or issues from the AZ sun. They come out super fast as well. I do miss the tie down a bit, but love that idea above on to place one on the bed rail.

Nah, I'll eventually I put them back in. But so far I've not been missing them. And ya shipping would be a good bit.
While that's a good idea, I still would be able to use them with a load of plywood.

This is what I did before.IMG_20141226_201330457.jpg

    Last order was over $2k
I meant wouldn't. Only because the eyelet wood be under the plywould. I use rachet straps, so the hook would not leave a flat bed floor.

I have two of them and love them. It helps that I have a backflip cover. With a 6" lift it swings out to a perfect height for pulling tools out.

I have one on the passenger side and love it...holds all of my extraction gear and tools, not sure how much that all weighs but it is substantial. Have had it installed for a couple of years with no issues.

I like my swing case (19 crewmax). I mostly keep my long term stuff in there. Tools, tow rope, bungees, etc. Works fine and doesn't get in the way.

I'm really thinking about going this route now that I have the CrewMax. I need new storage for some of the stuff that used to be underseat in my Double Cab. Now if you were only going to do 1, which side would you do? Driver or Passenger side?

I have mine mounted on the passenger side, works well for me.

Added one when I got my shell for lockable storage, out of sight in the back. Love it, plus the cutout on the top for a beverage is great when I'm working on the truck and have the tailgate down. Far less likely to dump my beer over then when it's sitting on the tailgate...

I like the idea but use my bed extender more. Unfortunately, I can't have it both ways! Using a large tool bag to store all the stuff I normally carry around (jumper cables, air pump, tools, etc.) but I also already have a dry bed (old pic with my tri-fold Undercover Armorflex but have Leer 100XR cap now):
