The side view mirrors only move when I move the gear selector to reverse when either the left or right mirror is selected. If the selector is in the middle, the mirrors do not change position when I reverse.

Not a complaint or a problem, just an observation.

    Happy Sunday!

I know there is a "what did you learn about your tundra" thread, just failing the searches with my google-fu

My mirrors change position when i move to reverse then back to drive. They seem to hold the previous set position and help see the lines when back in to a space.

That’s awesome. I was wondering why my truck started doing this. It didn’t do this whenever I first got her. Thank you for pointing this out.

My bride's Sienna does this. It is a safety feature while backing up.

I learned that if my moon roof is open it will flash on my dash that it is open.
Although I wanted to leave it open it bothered me that the light flashed so I closed it.

Must be a trim level option. My SR5 doesn't do this. My wife's Venaza is a Limited and it does do it.

I have Limited Crewmax. Is there a setting to make this happen?

I would guess having the mirror selector switch (that rocker switch) to one or the other makes it happens. That's how it works on the Venza

I washed my rig and noticed the exhaust does not stick out far enough to not blacken the white body above it. So I bought one of those Toyota stainless extensions. I started looking at all the other rigs on the road and did not see another that didn't stick out far enough.

TRD rear sway bar, console organizer, stubby antenna, LEDs for cabin, cargo, license plate, and reverse lights, power-fold mirrors, Westin nerf bars, full stereo upgrade. Future - color-match grill surround/bulge, mirror caps, handles, plasti-dip badges.
The reverse tilt-down feature is only available on the Platinum and 1794. You have to have the memory package, which isn't available on the 3rd gen Limited.

I learned that you can enable traditional (non-adaptive) cruise by holding the cruise control button in for a few seconds.

Mirror only moves when you're not making eye contact....:eek2:

...and it's going to know, it IS a mirror after all.:p
