Unless you are me. Took me two days and a lot of vodka before building up my courage to cut the floor of a 45K brand new truck. But once I did I am so glad that I did it. Once started took me about an hour! Truck is to cut inside the line for a snug fit.

Thanks it took me about 35 mins . But weeks to get the cottage.. we shall see if it's snug enough.. only drawback is it altered my weathertech that I decided to use as a cover instead of cutting.

Do you have a military discount? Been wanting the metal long box version, just waiting for right price.

Yes we do. The code is SERVDIS. Thank you for your service. My nephew is also in the Air Force and was in ABQ until 2017. Now he's in Guam. Took his CrewMax and Jag with him, lol.

Thank you. I have been in ABQ since 2014 but leaving for Florida in July. Definitely a nice change of scenery. That seems a bit over kill for that tiny island! Lol. I will definitely take a look then here this weekend after I get my bumper installed. I appreciate it!

In mine (2016 TSS), on the passenger rear seat, it harbors the jack. I don't see it in any of the pics in this thread... I was thinking of taking that out to use more space but it'd have to cut the bracket out. I'm ok with that but I guess I was wondering where the jack is in the pics.

Same question as above, any insight on this?

Also, anyone have the weathertech rear mat and trim it to work with the storage boxes? It extends well past the edge of the storage.

Edit - saw photo on first page of weather tech mat. Still curious about jack and bracket placement??

Seems adding the storage under the rear seat is a bit expensive for plastic inserts. Personally I have NO issues putting some things under the seat as is but I still have a solid platform to use when transporting things I would not want in the bed!

I totally agree, the price of all these storage options is outrageous imo.

I don't use the flat under seat for anything large (yet)

But I do have the entire under rear seat filled with stuff I need just in case.
Jack plate, straps, jumper cables, I don't even know what all else anymore.
I also have the entire floorboard behind my driver's seat packed with a small bulging tool bag, Viair pump, ice scrapper, windshield screen, and window flags when I'm feeling patriotic.
Most of that won't even fit in the tiny shallow under seat storage options anyway.

I sure wish they had designed the truck with proper storage, most trucks suck big time in this regard.
I also don't trust stuff locked in the bed, even in a box, and then my stuff is exposed to the elements, pass.

Eventually I will cut up my under seat and install my own pans or one of these overpriced premade options idk lol.

    Yup I bookmarked that thread.

That guy did great work and kindly shared it with us, he is awesome!

I may do something like that or buy one of the premade jobs idk yet.

I recently decided to slow down on moding the banks truck, I am making good progress paying it off doing extra principal only payments every month but still have a few years to go and my job is not going well lately.
If the job goes belly up, I could end up in a position where I have to sell my baby so my credit doesn't get ruined, and to get my considerable equity out of it.
I really should stop dumping money into it, at least for now, even though I want so many more mods lol.
