Nice. You didn't have to unbolt the rear seat and move it, like I did on the metal one.

Nope.. the plastic one doesn't have to move the seat, very simple.

Of course I always pick the harder install :) Yours looks nice (good pics too). I've only had it a short time, but really like it and I don't have all of that stuff hanging around in the bed.

Very nice! Did anyone use the foam for anything or just tossed it out? I was thinking about mapping a gun then cut out the shape of the gun and putting the foam back in

This mod looks like it will add a few percentage points to the resell of CM Tundras.

I tossed the foam, but used the husky liner that I had to cut to line the bottom of the storage compartments.

I tossed the foam. Its not the kind that I've seen used to line camera and gun cases. Its very course and hard. I had some left over sound deadener material from my Pop & Lock electric tailgate lock install that I used to line underneath the box. You don't have to line it, but I figured it couldn't hurt...

Hey Chuck, I was thinking about doing that to my pop and lock too. The sound is kind of annoying. How did it turn out?

I think it helped some. I've gotten to the point where I check it because I don't hear it over the doors locking unless I walk behind when locking it. Also, I have a Bedrug Tailgate Mat which tends to deaden sound. I am pleased with it so far.

For those with the Weathertech Digital Floor liners, did you make the cuts to liner and carpet separately or could you cut hot hot them together while they on the truck?

I thought about using the cut carpet sections to line the bottom of the compartments, but couldn't separate it and wanted something thin and non-slip so that my stuff wouldn't rattle inside the compartment. Got some tool box drawer liner and used it to line the bottom. Works well, it's thin (only ⅛" thick) and stuff doesn't slide around now.

As far as the floor mat goes, I have the Aries mats that don't go all of the way back, so I can't comment on cutting method. Looks like @TTU19 did his separate from the pics in this thread.

I cut my liner first and then used the holes in the as the template for the carpet and foam. I couldn't keep the liner still enough to make the cut through both.

Same here. Cut the floor mat first. Marked it while in the truck and then removed and cut.

We recently changed lock suppliers because we had this feedback. The locks we use now can be removed if unlocked. Originally I wanted it to be where it was for sure they were locked when closed so the lids do not rattle. Found out people don't mind either way so we went with the lock that allows the key to be removed in either spot.

Received mine today and had a lull in the shop so right to it I went. Template out mark and no looking back. From start to finish I don't think I was even 30-40 min.

Fits perfect. I used the carpet spots I cut out to line the compartment floors.

Taking out the noise dampening material, is it noisier in the cab!

I would say that is a negative on increased noise.

The styrofoam that you cut out is only maybe 2.5-3" thick and the floor of the cab is sprayed with what looks like a sort of bed liner stuff and your plugging the hole and the back seats are down.

At first I thought it would too, but once I got the rear seats out which took an entire 3-4 minutes. I love my 3/8" 14.4V Ratchet.
Eight bolts and the seats are out. After that it's all cake.
