I have been going back and forth on what truck to buy. Ram, Chevy mostly. Recently started looking into Tundra. I joined to gets some pointers. Really like the T with the level kit.

Welcome to the site. I cant speak for other trucks but I had owned GM ever since my first truck and traded a 2011 Silverado for my 2015 Tundra, and I can tell you I haven't looked back one time. This Tundra is bad ass! Very glad I made the change.

Tundra is more American made than Ram and Chevy. I am very very happy with mine, little jellouse of the 2014+ tundra interior though. After my Tacoma I didn't consider any other trucks besides the Tundra though.

Lmfao Sean266! Guys at work gave me that name, they think I'm his twin. Anyways, do all the tundras come with 4.30 rear ends? This is what caught my eye

Welcome. The 4.30 comes with tow/haul option package. At least it did on my 07.

Can't beat Tundra reliability. My local mechanic complains that I see him only for inspection, haha. Go with Tundra Pro and don't look back.

It can be a hard decision when you are thinking about spending $40 k. Sort of makes me sick thinking about it. Wondering would Ford be a better choice...Dodge. I do have experience with GMC and i have sunk way too much money in that truck in repairs. My dad is a Ford guy. Every 6 or 8 years when his Fords start having big problems, he goes out and buys new. It is like Fords are disposable. Guy i worked with had to have a less than 5 year old f150 completely rebuilt due to engine failure. My bro is a Chevy guy. Oh he says they are the best LOL so when his Chevy needed major repairs he gets rid of it. LOL
I have always driven Toyota pickups, Tacoma. Never a major problem and not much small problems either! So i really believe in Toyota quality and reliability and durability. Plus Toyota has the best resale value does it not?

I was having dinner with my family and my dad asks if i found a truck yet. I say yes i think i am getting a Toyota Tundra...He just smirks and sort of shakes his head in dissapointment and looks away as if in disgust! A while back i looked at ford and told him i was thinking ford and his eyes lit up and looked really happy. What a close minded old man! All he does is sits in front of the tv and watches news and politics in his underware!

I am ordering a 2016 Tundra 4x4 double cab SR5 upgrade long bed. Dont you guys think i am making the right choice?

To me Ford's pricing seems high compared to Toyota. I thought the Tundra was more American than Ford anyway.
