I went to UCC , Roseburg in1975. Gun free zone then, still was a "gun free" zone earlier today until a disturbed individual went on campus and gunned down 10+ dead and God knows how many wounded. Was egged on by pieces of crap people on Facebook to full fill his "mission". How about raising our kids on the golden rule, respect. Am I missing something here? After all , what do I know? I am only am pushing the big 6 zero. My generation is not doing the greatest job with their kids, Prove me wrong. Lets see examples.

Point taken. I stand corrected. Hopefully, I don't know anyone whose kids got killed or hurt today. Emotional day for me. I apologize, I don't mean to break the rules here. Life goes on.

    All good.

Tragic day for many out there today. My heart goes out to the community in mourning today.

So sad. I read about the parents looking at the last group of surviving students getting in the bus. As a parent of 4 wonderful children, I cannot even imagine the pain they must've been feeling . . .

Turns out my old buddy Jim in Drain Oregon has a grand daughter attending UCC. She had no classes yesterday and wasn't on campus.
