**serious question...try to keep jokes to a minimum**

Anyone here ever have an ultrasound of their scrotum before? I have one on Monday, and don’t know what I should expect.

hmmmm.....i honestly don't think it would be much different than one done in a pregnant woman. (seriously thought about this too) because i know there are 2 ways for sonograms to be done....and I'm pretty sure one of them is impossible to use in that area....

I have had one of my stomach, I'm a dude by the way.

They put some gel on the area then move the handheld part over the area they need to look at.

I was getting my separation physical and the doctor was checking out the boys, when he said HMMMM! Dude, don't say HMMM there! Anyway, I had to go to the Naval Hospital to have an ultra sound. Radiology Tech was very professional and they have procedures in place to keep you and the tech as comfortable as possible. Other that that I hope all goes well for you.

Yep, cooooolllllddd gel. One of my buddies credits having a test like this with helping to keep him healthy AND preserving the equipment he needed to create his kids the old fashioned way. Whatever reason you're doing it, it's as "noninvasive" a medical procedure as there is. With a lot of upside. Sending good thoughts your way.

expect nothing. you'll just sit there and relax. literally nothing to worry about except the tech might have to handle your balls around for a better image.

Thanks fellas. Yeah, hopefully it’s nothing, my dr said she’d feel better ordering an ultrasound just to be on the safe side.

The jelly/wand is cold, so I think your nuts. I have had a lot of ultrasound treatments for tissue damage during PT and recovery.
You have a lot of balls telling us about this, so good luck. Hope your technician is hotter than Daisy Duke. If so, she'll get the point rather quickly.

Hope you get good results, all joking aside. Keep us posted, and not dangling around.
