Anybody wire in new switches for one of those 6 mode light bars? I don't like the goofy switch box they give you and would prefer to wire in OEM style switches such as these from CH4x4. I understand you need an ON/OFF and a Momentary switch to toggle thru the six modes. Any suggestions for me? I haven't seen anybody post one of these kinds of lightbars on Tundras.com.

This is an ON/OFF switch and they also make various momentary switches.

They have some dual switches and I believe you can change any latching switch to momentary though I've never done so myself. The double switches use all 5 positions on the JAE connector. That might be the cleanest option and save you some switch blank spots.

Alright, not a lightbar but I think this is the best place to share this anyways. I was planning to build myself a camp light so I can set up a table and cook or whatever else. I was going to build it my self out of pvc pipe and some pod lights with a neat truck tire flag pole mount, but, I added it up and it would have been over 90 dollars. Then I found this pole light on Amazon. I got it for $40 bucks and figured I would give it a shot. I am pretty happy with the output and find that the absolute lowest brightness setting is great for just moving around.

Tonight i got to test a Rigid 20" adapt. So cool that you can switch through beam modes. With that being said, my LP6 baja designs throw more light. For max lighting i dont think Baja can be beat. For a bit better tuned beam patterns/cutoff I think Rigid has the upper hand. Bajas customer service compared to rigids is MUCH better.

Update on the 42" Nilight bar that's on the corolla. Quite a few of the LEDs on the drivers side are dim/burnt out, but overall the light bar is going strong. Still lights everything up as it should. It's been on "permanently" since mid-June of 2021.

First post list is now in alphabetical order which means that they are no longer "in order" when compared to posting on the thread, but all the info is there. Love to get some more in here for us to look at. We like pics, like a Lot.

Alright. I started my participation in this thread by saying I already wanted an upgrade to my light bar and that has finally happened... sorta. I recently upgraded to an aftermarket bumper with lights and winch and all the goodies. The bumper is by Ironman4x4 and the lightbar is their in-house branded light. For the pods, I went with Diode Dynamics since they are still the only ones I'm aware of that have figured out a good SAE pattern. I took all pictures with my iPhone with all the camera settings locked which to my eye is pretty accurate except for the Amber lights with look neutered due to the locked white balance. The lines of trees is about 450-500 feet in front of my truck. Overall very impressed with all the lights I have selected, though I’m not sure if the Ironman is worth the $400 by it self, when I got a deal with the bumper and light for ~$800 I’m blown away.
