And they're not asking for 40% over 4 years plus a bunch of other benefits nobody in the real world gets.

 

I say this because I don’t believe our health care workers will be met with the same rhetoric throughout this thread. The parts where unions breed lazy people, protect the worthless etc. To my understanding, the fight here is over wages, short staffing and better work rules.
I respect the fight they’re bringing. My wife is a nurse and she works her ass off.

Again. That’s posturing. They won’t get that. They know it. But they will get a damn good raise and get some of that money they help create back in their pockets.
Maybe they get 28 over 4 years. Top job is sitting at 32 an hour. That job will be sitting at 41 an hour in 2027. Hardly a wage that is hard to comprehend.
