Use skateboard grip tape; have had some on for many months. No signs of peeling off and looks completely factory.

In fact, I ordered a lot thinking I may have to replace it periodically. Haven’t had to do so yet. Send me your address and I will send you enough to cover all four steps that have the stars

Thanks. I haven’t ordered these yet. Trying to decide between these and go rhino offerings. Do you have any pics of the grip tape covering the stars?
    Thanks for the offer.

    Easy to install?
Was going to have my line x do the RB20’s as they only charge $50’for install. Sure I could do it myself but for $50? But that’s $640 installed.

These are way more cost effective. And if I can cover the stars may prefer that route.
    Thanks

    this looks good.

Very easy to install; the styrofoam that they use to pack the steps are actually holders for the steps as you mount them!!! I don’t think you’d be disappointed. I like these way better than the other options available, especially at the price point. I hate the Dallas cowboys so I had to find a way to cover the stars and the grip tape works surprisingly well.

I would be happy to send grip tape to any non cowboys fans to cover up the hideous stars

Highly recommend these, solid and no slip. Little kids and wife approve of them. Even had the boys help me with the install.

Yeah, I think I may save the money and go with these. The lack of symmetry of the RB20 have been killing me, even tho I love their look.

I think y’all talked me in to these. Going to order soon. Thanks for the anti slip tape. The stars and tiger were a deal breaker for me.

Any advantage ordering direct vs Amazon? I assume warranty still applies.

No hassle return with Amazon in case something goes wrong. It is a huge box, BTW.

My first set of these were so far off that none of the holes on the drivers side lined up. Amazon saved me a lot of money with the free shipping return. The 2nd set went on in about 10 minutes. For the price, I am very happy how they have held up for the last year.

So just to make sure, when installing, there’s only one bolt towards the front? Then 2 everywhere else. I only see 1 towards the front.

Never mind. Figured it out. Hmm, doing it by myself was a PITA and I’m also as handy as Tim the tool man Taylor.

the passenger side (the first side) I didn’t pay attention to where the bolts were in regards to the tabs so I have one side (front) that sits slightly higher than the back. My OCD can’t take it. I’ll have to fix come a nice day in spring. It’s 25° here and my hands were cold. The driver side, where I had learned from all my mistakes on the first side, was quite simple and took maybe 15 min. The front probably took my an hour plus.

That last photo of the passenger side is killing me. My OCD in full effect. Got the front higher up than the back side. I’ll have to re-do when warmer. I’ll need a new washer. That one broke on me. The drivers side is great.
