Keep fixing and dropping cash in current rig, super charger is on the list, along with more suspension on 2018 crew max. Or start saving to upgrade the entire truck? More horses and better mpg sounds nice..

    Thoughts, suggestions?

Beating a dead horse here, topics been addressed a lot.

Daily driven with no towing? I'd wait and get the TT.

Haul or tow frequently? I'd keep the 5.7

    Those are my thoughts.

The TT has had some proven mileage on it....in a platform outside of the Tundras intention.

A supercharger would be super nice at elevation. Especially with all the wind you deal with in SE Wyoming. Go Cowboys!

I have a 16. I am really looking forward to the new truck, but will give it a couple years to work out any kinks. I wouldn't want to buy a brand new power train without giving them a year or two to figure it out.

Valid point, Ford has great reviews on the engine set up, not so much the aluminum body

I know Toyota and more so Lexus has lot of similar TT powertrains, but the one that will be going into the Tundra will be newly developed won't it? My wife has a Lexus NX 200T with the TT and it's been a great car so far so TT doesn't bother me, it's any new configuration that I like to give a year or two.

Fact, it's funny because our average is about 35 to 40 miles per hour and today we were getting gusts to 75 and 80 but it's hard to explain that to people that have not been here

I’m sure the new model will be great... but I don’t think I’d grab a first year model.

Lexus uses a Twin Turbo 3.4 V6 in the LS500. Makes 416hp/443 lb/ft of torque. Its the V35A-FTS. it replaced the 1UR V8 engine. So I would imagine some variant of this is what would be used in the Tundra.

Been to Adak... never stayed longer than an hour or two. Only place I’ve seen it snow so hard you literally couldn’t see your hands

but i know the ‘wind sock’ on Shemya was a log dangling from a chain.

The latest reports that I've been reading are suggesting 2022 for the new platform. And yea I'm holding out with my 2nd gen until at least then.
