15 days to go. It's crunch time!
Penelope is at Toy Lex for her alignment, post-front-end rebuild/upgrade. I should have her back in time to swing by and see Polo, to work on our leaf springs and adjust Casey's 6112's, later this week.
She's got her new shoes on now. But she will be wearing her old ones to T2S, because they're still pretty new too. Plus I still need to do some additional trimming, before I even think about wheeling her, with the 35's. I'll likely remove the front Spidertrax wheel spacers, too.
Then, sometime later this year (after T2S and Jamboree the following weekend), she'll be getting a 4Crawler 1 inch body lift. That outta do it and prevent me from the usual necessity of tubbing the firewall, unless I want 37's someday. Which I might ... I should've re-re-geared to 4.88 instead of 4.56. Oh well! The rears stuff perfectly. I just need more spring rate for the cap and a heavier spare.

 

Picked her up after an alignment at Toy Lex, around lunch today. Got her home and removed the front wheel spacers, then sawzalled a little sheet metal on the front of the driver front wheel well. I haven't had time to do any additional cuts or flex testing yet. But I filled the gas tank and packed the bed with parts and tools, for later this week. I might stop at @VR6T's place while I'm in the hill country, and have him tack weld my KPO cam eliminaters in place. Apparently that's a thing according to @khooiii.
Might be worth while.

I would've grabbed some pics without the front spacers, but honestly my phone camera wouldn't have done justice.
Before the fronts were like an inch wider than the rears, now the rears are like half an inch wider than the fronts. Which I think is perfect.

 

If your cam tab gussets are flush to the plates yours won't move and don't need to be welded. Mine have a small gap so I just sent it. If those come off I'm getting cam tab gussets, new lockout plates, and long travel lol.

 

Mine are flush. I had to force a few of em in with a ratchet strap and a hammer.

I have the cam tab gussets that came with my KPO cam eliminaters. I just bought em just in case, because Black Friday sale. If you want em, I'll bring em to Jambo.

 

Might take you up on that. If you don't do the gussets just lay a bead on the factory cams and call it a day.

 

Is anybody coming from or through Colorado? I'd love to try this beer if someone brings some.

 

I’ll pay good money to a Texas friend if they can snag some Yuengling. I think tx is as far as it goes west.. not positive
