Hell yea. Canyonlands is pretty nice, spent some time there but mostly arches. Powell was really neat just to see. Crazy how low the water level is now.

Yea, Canyonlands is like endless trails to explore and Lake Powell was so fun to camp at! I was on the beach earlier in the day, then overlooking it from an amazing camp spot hours later!

The Narrows are incredible, especially in April.... just be careful if you're not familar w/conditions that time of year as it can get dicey pretty quick in that canyon

Since I took the day off I decided the procrastination stops and I picked up the trailer so I can work on it this weekend. Or maybe next weekend, possibly the one after that.

Sweet. Hopefully we can leave here around 9, which will get us there about 4 AZ time. Plenty of time to shotgun some beers and make an ass out of myself.

Preparation began in earnest this weekend. Since I'm 2wd and don't do the trails, mine is related to my trailer. For, well reasons, we haven't been camping in almost a year and my trailer is a 2014, so shit needed fixing/maintaining.
I had drained the tanks last trip and we don't drink the water, but we shower and wash dishes with it, and after a year of sitting in the AZ sun it had to be nasty, so did a sanitize and 3 flushes. I put all new brakes in, but one wheel had blown the grease seal, so that and the bearings got replaced. The carbon monoxide/propane detector told me it had reached the end of it's useful life by beeping constantly, so Amazon replacement for that. My batteries surprisingly tested OK, but after 5 years in the sun, I didn't trust them. Since I had gotten such good life out of them I replaced with the same from AutoZone even though Costco was cheaper, but I sweet talked the AutoZone chick into matching Costco's price (she wanted me, I could tell). Lubricated all the locks, stabilizer jacks, slide seals, and hitch. Also replaced the shower head that had cracked from the sun and age.
Still need to test the propane system and one of the tanks is empty but 10 years old and can't be filled, so will get swapped with the BBQ tank, replace the sensor batteries for the tanks, test the fridge, and lights. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but can not wait for Sedona!

Do you plug in where you store it so the batteries are topped off all the time?

No. I've seen what happens to camper shitters around you.

No, but I have a shut off switch, so they're disconnected when in storage.

I was shocked. My tester said the SOH was in the mid 70% after sitting for all that time and before I plugged the trailer in. They were probably ok, but I bought them in 04/2020 and you know batteries here just don't last. With all the maintenance I'm doing, I figured why not replace before Sedona, just in case. She gave me the new ones for $90 each.
