Nice footage! I’m roughly 99.65% sure we met up there, but it was sort of like a wedding. Saw lots of people I wanted to spend time with, but actually spent the most time with my friend, alcohol.

Still trying to figure out with @papasmurf and others how to gather all the media in one place.

 

Thanks - had to head out of town Friday afternoon so I only got a few laps with the drone.

I live about 1 hour from Mile Zero of the Alaska Highway. Worst case, I might be able to meet up with you there for an initial part of the run.

 

One of my favorite parts of this event is all the people with skills (even if it’s Designated Beer Holder) to help fix stuff right at camp. We blew a front coilover in 2017 and we rebuilt it at camp with ratchet straps, a tree stump, and a washer that someone randomly had in a tool bag.



In 2019 we blew the steering rack and had one delivered to camp by Findlay Toyota Flagstaff the next day to swap in. Decided not to swap it, and ended up getting it covered under warranty.

This year I brought our old bumper up and swapped it at camp since I didn’t get a winch yet for the SDHQ hidden winch bumper, and wanted the lights back in.

Absolutely. We usually have a few non-Tundra vehicles attend and they’re towed in by Tundras. The reverse is also true. We’ve had people tow their Tundra in with a different vehicle.

 

Lisa has been threatening to buy a first gen and make a go fast machine ever since she rode with @Sunnier a few years ago. I think that combo would make a very nice setup.

 

Maybe #t2sCarnage is a better tag.

There was a decent amount. Fewer blown shocks than previous years, but the ones that did blow, went out with gusto.

 

How far from camp still counts as a campsite repair? Asking for a friend.

Hey I was thoroughly impressed with all them pretty blonde ladies wheeling those pink jeeps in Sedona. It was funny when I saw the occasional male driver in the pink jeeps. Pretty sure those women could out wheel some of us.

Lisa towed her Black Series trailer out from Virginia and won this year. I think we gave her a cooler for it.
I’ve driven back and forth from Ohio a couple times.
We’ve had people come from Canada and I think as far as Nova Scotia.

2,377 miles puts you maybe someplace near NYC? Lived in the city for a few years and have family on Long Island.

Where’d all the party people go? I think the first gens picked a spot early and people glommed on. Camp was very spread out this year.

I got a 1:42 which I think qualified me for fastest condominium (@Vizsla is house truck, so we’re in different classes, LoL). But I also created the course, so, disqualified.

 

Damn, Craig was cookin. He’s always been fast, but his new suspension is like butter.

 

Fuckin Carlos. I’m gonna tell him he’s not welcome.

 

162 registered, but I’m still trying to nail down how many actually showed up. We always have some no-shows and some unregistered that show up.
