most likely GFF is impacted depending on if they open the entrance to the Cinders. There are other ways in that don’t require us to break the closure of 89, but the area we run is right on the internal border of their closure.
Winds are pushing the fire NNE so our play area should be fine, but we’re keeping an eye on it with a backup plan in place.

So far there are no fire bans or impacts to the rest of the event, but we’re staying in contact with the USFS to make sure everyone and the area we use stays safe.

    See you soon!

Well, you can take one of two options here:

    1. You can tell them to get the hell out of our camp site or
    2. Tell them “party on dudes” and join them.
    I say number 2 :)

I would say lockers and/or winch required with preferably at least 37s.

That brings up a question: Do you guys that are going for more than a couple days plan to hit all the trails or just do a favorite one or two over and over? Or just do broken arrow once, get some pics for the gram, and spend the remaining 4 days drinking?

I’ll only be wheeling for 2 days, definitely broken arrow and other DoNA trails, and then go fast Friday and other “scenery” in the area.
There are so many trails to run, I don’t think I’d be running one more than once

I’ll be there the duration and plan on doing 5 different trails for variety.

    Chandler, AZ, not anymore :(
Just installed couple of CB shims on each side, raised the nose by 1". I barely see the difference. I'm gonna remove the running boards and call it good for this trip. I reckon moderate trails will be my max.

Every inch helps. You might be able to do Greasy Spoon. While I have not done it personally, everything I’ve read and seen about it does not look too difficult.

At least everyone headed to T2S will have plenty of camping gear for when I-17 turns into a parking lot.
