@Rica25 All the Sedona trails are doable in your 2wd Tundra. Just be sure you have tow hooks in front and one of us in front of you. :D

Hot shit! I guess I better pay attention to the forum.

Non-Tundra Toyota’s are acceptable on a friends and family kinda basis. Even better if your non-Tundra is towed to the event by your Tundra. ;)

We do ask to keep 2wd off of a couple specific trails due to the scale and visibility of the event and our partnership with the Forest Service. Our permits are reviewed and approved by Sedona and their Chamber of Commerce which obviously has a heavy leaning toward the off road tourist businesses. They approve and support our event because of our commitments to limit trail congestion and damage. _Can_ your 2wd Tundra make it through Broken Arrow with a skilled driver? Absolutely. Just not during the event.

    On another note:

Do you want to be a trail leader this year?

You don’t need to know the trails ahead of time. You basically need to be the point of contact for your group of 7-8 trucks to make sure people know where to gather and when to be there. You can lead as many or as few trails as you like.

Let me know if you’re down for it! It’s a ton of fun and I plan to lead some trails myself this year.

I just finished registering. I'm not trailer camping anymore. I will be bringing my boys. Are pit bikes allowed near the camp grounds? They are little gas powered 100CC ones. I may bring my 200CC one too. :anonymous:

These are the trails I picked. I haven't been on any of these trails, but can be trail leader for Schnebly Hill.
    • Friday Afternoon Trail EASY - Schnebly Hill
    • Saturday Morning HARD - Greasy Spoon 1 - 4WD and Clearance
    • Sunday Morning Trail MODERATE - Oak Creek Homestead - 4WD and Clearance

My wife hasn’t murdered me for the exhaust issue… yet. The chances of your wife murdering you while making her morning espresso are low, but never zero.

Apologies if this has been asked or I didn’t see it in the FAQ section. I understand it’s dispersed camping, but is it basically a big ass open field we all plop down on, or like 2 miles along the road of tundra shanty/glampy villes?
I will be arriving middle week so just wondering what to expect when we get there. Thanks meow

It’s trees that provide ample shade and room beneath for tents. The reason for the limits on trailers is that there’s less space and access for those than for tents. And there’s a large open field area, but we don’t camp in it so we have a space to line up trucks for pics; for venders to have booths; for a raffle, and awards, like that.

Also, the dirt road is super easy to come in on at night, you can arrive at dusk or dark, pull in out of the way, then walk around on foot to figure out where you want to be. Friends tend to cluster together, so if you already know a buddy will be there, make a plan to communicate when you arrive, and that’ll be even easier.

Edit: if you arrive in daylight, it will be easy-peasy; you can see most of camp from any part of camp.

    Thank you!!
I know quite a few of the local members are going and it sounds like some of my 1st gen brethren are coming. I will let them know when I’m headed in(daylight for sure!)

hopefully there will be a pumpkin carving contest, kids and or adults!
