Worth it for the clean bathroom and shower IMO. I don’t have one, or I’d take it.

Is this something I could just come up for the day? I’m under 2 hours from the location. I’ve done a ton of quadding in that area around Schnebbly road and such. Awesome views of Sedona from there. Munds Park also has some good trails.

Would love to break in the Pro up there. Rica you might just want to stay in Flagstaff if you need a hotel. Will be a lot cheaper than Sedona. Prices there are expensive

I’ll have to look. Not sure where the spot is, but if it’s off Schnebbly I’d say about 20 mins if you stay on the side side of Flagstaff

Is it a nice part of the town dont like to stay in bad areas. My 10 yr old tends to catch bad areas real quick and hates them

All of Northern Arizona is amazing man. A bad part of Flagstaff is probably a great part of town in Cali. You guys have nothing to worry about up there. And If you bring your son, there’s places like Bearizona you can take him. (Drive thru zoo). Love it up there!

Yeah I’m not sure where this event actually meets. If it’s in Sedona it takes longer from Flag because of the terrain. If it’s off the 17 then it’s not far at all from south Flag

What’s really cool is you can 4x4 from schnebbly all the way down to Sedona. The Pink Jeep tours use that route. Phenomenal views and scenery. I’ve only done it on my quad, not in my truck yet. Bring your suspension!

@Rica25 The campground is right off the 17. Sedona is closer than Flagstaff but driving time will actually be longer. That Schnebly Rd is rough. I mean really really rough. Average drive to Sedona from camp in a stockish Tundra will be over 30 mins.

For those still needing a place, since my wife and I are traveling with our 6month old for this trip - we decided to AirBNB this time instead of camp. We booked a place in Munds park, its a stone throw away from the camp site so just a few minute drive to the party. Attached is a link to save some money if you do book a place through AirBNB, there are plenty of options in Munds park and even just a bit north only about 20min out.

Yes, Schnebly exit and drive like 5 mins in and camp will be on the left. Pro, Limited, Mid Travel it’s all the same. Teeth shattering. That first time driving through is amazing but it gets old fast on the second and third time through. We just started driving all the way around instead.

Yeah I drove to the Sedona lookout and stopped in my truck. On the way back to the 17 the Jeep guys flew passed me. They were aired down and such.

I’m flying in Sunday and will be there to Sat or Sunday. Sat morning is the group photo and raffle. We might leave right after that and camp in the Barstow area Sat night. Then finish our drive home on Sun morning.
