Until you get a gopro, just set up a ghettopro like mine. Sticker magnet on windshield, mob armor phone mount and iPhone. :bananadance:

Most definitely. I was hitting sliders on both hard and moderate trails. Some lesser built trucks ran moderate trails with breakage, but that might be more a result of truck brand.:anonymous:

I put my GoPro mount on my front bumper - just forgot to attach the GoPro at the trail head. :(

Neither Dilly nor I have sliders (both 1st gens) and we made it through Smiley Rock without damage but we were definitely being careful, and no doubt I slowed everyone down (I did get a small indent on the left lower edge near the back wheel, but no damage damage ), but...
I have SDHQ sliders on my 3rd gen 2WD daily and have dropped or slid that truck on 'em several times. I definitely find it reassuring to have 'em, and being able to take more risks with than without.

Yeah, but that's on a 1st Gen. You go through Smiley on a 3rd Gen without sliders, you're going to have a very bad day. :p

You're right! I was nervous in the first gen, which had many more options as far as picking lines, more room side to side. Taking a 3rd gen through without sliders would have been very stressful!

I edited my last to reflect we were driving smaller trucks.

Haha... I'm doing my POST season maintenance. Pretty soon it's gonna be too hot to do any serious rides.
