Kevin, can we go out on our own without signing up for one of the groups? How does this work?

Registered! @KevinK I just picked available hard runs, but I’m gonna want to wheel with my homies. Am I screwing up your system?

If you guys want to have a BASTRDS team we can set that up. Random exploring on some of these trails individually is a little tough if you’re in a small group. Our commitment to the US Forest Service is to limit the number of trucks we have on any given trail at one time. Some of these trials get quite a bit of traffic and we only allow for 8 rigs at a time. Hence the schedule.
And there are a lot more trails than these, but these are the best ones. Tons of trails all around camp and stuff too.
What do you think from last year @831Tun ?

Gotcha. Wasn’t so concerned about wheeling with the Bastrds, I was thinking more about wheeling with other guys like @FlashCulprit @Vizsla @boardude @Porschetech29 @Eclipsed & Floating @Erichudgins @Sunnier @ColoradoTJ SGU and hopefully Elkhunter. Guess we’ll see when we get there.

Fast Friday at Cinders sounds like fun. Like Joon said, there are some other folks that it'd be nice to wheel with,Viz and Fam for sure, Yodigan Kris, and I'd love to get some advice from the SGU crew.

Yeah, a lot of the ‘hey I wanna wheel with you’ gets sorted out onsite. And I built a small cushion into each trail signup also, so many of them can accommodate an extra truck or two for the last minute changes.
If you have a total hardon for one specific trail at one specific time, and it’s booked, send me a note and we can connect with the people already on that trail to see if they’re flexible.

Yeah, that's a screw up on the ordering page.

They'll be onsite at the event. Good catch! Please let me know if you see other screwy shit on any of the sites.

Yeah, most of this pre-registration stuff is to prevent what happened last year - me stumbling around camp all week drunk/hungover with a fistfull of whiskey stained papers, scribbling names on blurred lines.

It's a huge wide open area with no marked spots. Get in where you fit in if you're Too $hort. There is plenty of room all over this area for everyone.

A simple and cheap Baofeng radio is highly recommended by me, very helpful.

It's time well spent. Kevin (I'm sure there are others too) deserves a lot of credit for this event, planning, organizing and keeping it alive.

Here is a link to our FAQ page with some answers to common questions, but we don't have a specific comms recommendation. @831Tun is spot on with his recommendation. Full disclosure - to operate on some of those frequencies requires a Ham license, but some of them are 'available for use' by companies and race teams and so forth. We'll largely be on those and they are accessible by the Baofeng offered by PCI Race Radios through @sdhq_offroad. They're both sponsors of the event, so I'd give them a call.

Thanks man! Last year was all me (and it showed). This year we have an organizing committee and a whole team of trail leaders and volunteers. It's gonna be sick.
