It's borderline safe. Nothing graphic. Or visual.

Put yourself in a corporate office and have the HR lady standing behind you; would you watch it?

Whatever this forum told me to do
    I absolutely dread HR.

it warms my heart that they are usually the first to get laid off- in these parts.

That's how I operate on stuff, because everything on my computer can be monitored. I find it best to avoid anything too sketchy.

You phukers don't make it easy sometimes! :p

Good for you for having the time to take care of yourself.
I've lost 20 pounds since January, it is mostly because I laid off the beer, and I've been off work.
I used to go to the gym regularly, until worked changed from working 9 or 10 hour days to working 13 hours a day about 13 years ago.
I felt better when I worked out.
Work is sitting driving for 11 hours a day, being at work for 12 or more, then a 90 minute commute to and from work, which used to be 20 minutes.

I had back surgery 2 years ago, and by the time I finished rehab and had time off work, I felt better and got back in better shape than I had been in years
It was great until I went back to work.

As soon as I get my range of motion back, I can start working out in the garage again, at least until I go back to work.
But the good thing is I can retire in a couple of years, after I get my knees replaced.

But enough about me, the point of this post was to remember names.
I'm terrible about remembering names, even someone I met 5 minutes ago.
If I can find something in my head to relate a person to, whether resembling someone famous, a specific feature or habit that they have, or even a cartoon character, I'm more likely to remember their name.
I always pay attention to employees wearing name tags.
I found if you thank an employee or even talk with them, they'll appreciate that you even noticed what their name is.
If I can see a name and attach it to a face, I can usually remember a name as well..

I used to be single. I worked hard at staying in shape and wouldn't balk at taking travel vacations at any time. I've ridden motorcycles from CO to Central America, to AK and all over the west. I've been on countless whitewater expeditions both here and abroad. So I always had the philosophy that I wasn't interested in a relationship because it would just cramp my style. So many people claim that relationships take so much work and I wasn't available to give work to that because it wasn't a priority for me. I didn't want to make sacrifices and do work for love. I loved myself and I was okay with that. I would only "settle" per se if I found a woman who wanted to be in a relationship that didn't require work. One in which love, respect for boundaries and support flowed freely between us. I thought it was a dream and that I would never find it so I kept traveling and playing.

When my wife and I met her 2 young girls were 3/5 respectively. That was over 11 years ago and I haven't stopped being me because she was the type of woman I would settle for. She excepts me for who I am, and also promotes my independence. I've since sold all my motos but that wasn't because of her. Once I got into whitewater kayaking it changed my love of motorcycles and I found myself moving my bikes to get to my kayaks. After about 6 years of moving those Ktm's around the garage or storage shed I tired of moving them so I ended up selling them.

Which brings me to my point. By focusing on you and taking care of yourself first. You're creating a healthy self who is able to be available without sacrifice in a relationship. When you're ready to accept that woman in your life I'm sure you'll find that 1 in 10,000 one that will support you for who you are. And I say accept because you won't have to go looking. And in return, all you have to do is give her the same freedom, love and support.

    Fuck HR.
    That is all.

    Actually it isn't...
Anyone who knows anything, knows that HR is not there for the employee. They are there for the company. No matter what HR says and how nice they try to be to the employees, they are not there for them. They are not your friend, and you should never run to them for help. Their sole existence is to protect the company from the employees.

The last place I worked at rebranded their HR dept to "People and Culture dept."
And a few dumbasses actually fell for it and thought they were there for them.
    Idiots.

I will likely stick to the wheels I have. I'd rather get better tires than change the look of the wheels.

A one-handed spinach and bacon omelet with strawberries..
Wife brought home strawberries and fresh spinach from a lunch she did at work yesterday.
They told her 10 people needed lunch at a deposition, so she ordered la Madeleine catering, only 3 of them ate anything.
So we had dinner last night and I made myself this breakfast/lunch..

    upload_2025-5-20_12-36-23.jpg

She doesn't usually bring stuff home, but it was too much to waste..
