But Amazon can point the finger to their 3PLs and absolve themselves from responsibility for their shitty service.

It still does nothing in these circumstances, because our carriers here are considered PT 'rural' carriers. So, the postmaster won't take any ownership over those employees. They claim the service is contracted out but won't provide the company who the rural carriers are allegedly working for, AND they assist w/the job listing and w/hiring when they replace them....

We've been here for about 6 years now, and over that time we've had a few 'spells' of some really shitty service. Generally, we let it go until it hits a threshold, but at some point enough is enough. A couple of years ago, I think the accuracy rate was under 50% for about a month, and it hit a point where everyone in the neighborhood ended up going down the to post office and bitching. It finally got resolved, but good grief just put a little effort into your job and everyone will be happy!!!!

This is true for some areas, but the nearest anything for scamazon is over 100 miles away. It's not done with the EV truck, it's a big box truck that requires a CDL to operate.

There is zero excuse for such shit delivery.

The abandoned house they left my package at is on the corner of two streets in an actual town. Neither street name even remotely resembles the County Road number or even the common local name of the road I live on. I also had in the deliver instructions "County Road ##### is also known as (Common Local Name). It is not a paved road and it is not 'in town.' If you are in town on a paved road, it is not the right address."

They still fucking left it in the middle of town. The lazy piece of shit intentionally left it at an abandoned house. I say this because he/she went out of his way to go around to the back of the property to put it at the back door and take a picture to "prove" it was delivered. That's how I found where it was dropped. It was being hidden away intentionally, otherwise it would have been left at the front door of the abandoned house that is way easier to access than the back door.

If he's out at the ranch, my uncle has Amazon deliver to a box in a nearby town, and he has a post office box there as well. I guess the math is the worry versus the trouble...

I was hoping to catch him/her before they leave by asking for the supervisor and then asking the supervisor if the driver for the 'failed attempt' just happens to still be there and if so have him/her grab the driver real quick and then line this shit out in front of the driver...

I'll keep it real innocent at first and then once he commits to a story, I'll introduce exhibits A, B and C and then just slam the door with some closing arguments before the dumb ass has a chance to even try to recover...

Yeah, that works if it's small. The post office won't take a lot of the scamazon stuff where I am. Lots of items will also reject the address if it's a PO Box.

We've thought about this, but the problem is out here you can't access any of these places except during business hour, and well... :anonymous:

About 10 years ago I had a mail carrier tossing packages on the porch from 12' and 15' away. I called the post office and told them the next time it happened I'd put my Ring footage on YouTube. Whether they fired the guy or just assigned him to a different route (more likely), I wound up with a new carrier the next day.

You're way nicer than I am. If I had footage of that nonsense I'd be blasting them for it. I pay taxes for services, not for dogshit behavior. The guberment always gets the black eye. They receive no quarter.

The scarier part... if its the 26' airbrake box truck.... no CDL required! Just hours logged which are often faked.

    The Dirty T ( ^_^)_且

Rural carriers are not contractors, they are USPS employees just like city carriers. I am a retired rural carrier, I received my paycheck and now retirement from the Office of Personnel Management like all federal employees. The difference is there are different unions and contracts for city and rural carriers. City is an hourly position while rural routes are evaluated and the carrier is paid for the route, so if it's an 8 hour route and you do it in 6, you still get 8 hours pay, do it in 10 and you still get 8 hours. Also, some rural routes don't have a gov. vehicle (I think most do now), you drive your car and are paid mileage. I used to own a factory right hand drive Jeep Cherokee

I may or may not have managed them (similiar) for a hot minute or two.

Additional fun... my rural gets all my Amazon sent via "share post" which is when UPS hands off the delivery to USPS. Because Amazon wont deliver to my area without using USPS. occasionally, I will get a fedex delivery due to weight or something.

So tracking is unreliable to say the least.

I could go on, but I do enough of this with work lol.

Yeah, the only carrier I have had 90% or better success with is UPS. Scamazon and UPS got a messy divorce going on, so I'm out.

I left a message with my local Postmaster about 4 years ago to call me about moving my mailbox.

I am sure they are going to call me back very soon.

Personally I wouldn't waste my time. A USPS employee isn't even as good as a DMV employee.

I checked my records and see that they have you cued up for a return call between fall 2025 and spring 2045. Please click here if you accept their terms.

I offloaded my 12g a while back and then decided to let go of my TP9SXF but for some reason it hasnt sold. So i am going to move it up into my area and see if it does better up there. I miss being in Texas where I would do it all on FB. Now I have to pay shops. Lame.

Have you tried a listing with an online ffl dealer? Some of them have fees paid by buyers for the license transfer.

IDK that one by the number. What make is it so I can google?

You do know, so long as you go through an FFL, you could use the marketplace on here for it, right?

Edit: I googled the TP9SXF and it's pretty cool looking. What makes you want to sell it? How much have you shot it? What all kit comes with it? Original box still in hand? Which version are you selling? Asking for a friend. :anonymous:

Speaking of laughing out loud. I started that Bad Thoughts show last night and I haven't laughed that hard from something on tv in a long time. The opening sniper scene is phenomenal.
