You are right, they are putting more in every day. But, I just don't think EVs are ready for tow duty yet. For instance, a local lake that I camp at a lot is 75 miles each way with a gain in elevation, no services, electric or even cell service, much less a charger. That quick little trip would be out of range for me.

Plus, I often do longer tows where I have to stop a few times each way for gas, which is a PITA in itself, couldn't even imagine adding an hour to each of those stops to charge vs the 5 minutes it takes to pump 20 gallons.

Don't get me wrong, EVs are impressive and probably the near future, just not ready for actual truck duty yet.

Oh I get it. You can plug it in a standard outlet, but it’ll charge at a snails pace. I wonder how their semi will perform ….

Na, Parker. Rose Canyon is less that 25 from my house, never towed my trailer up there though.

Damn, Parker is only 75 away? Do you take your rig down there often? I wish there was more shade there

Yeah, I would look at the burners too. But in the end the only way you'll know if it's good is by firing it up.

Yep, from my house near Speedway/Houghton. I take the trailer every time. Forest Service, so no services other than vault toilets and a water spigot or 2, but being a National Park, my America the Beautiful Access pass gets me a camping spot for $10.

I need to get down on more of these passes. This year we finally got smart and did a year pass for Sabino canyon the first time we went; oh but the dude didn’t mention the road was going to be torn up most of the year and closures and detours MIGHT(will) happen………
It was also great, we tried to buy one at the booth and dude was like we ran out but the gift shop opens in an hour……. Well can we buy one after we come down, we’re trying to head up now. Oh yeah that’s fine just park, it’s ok. Come back down to a ticket; not a big deal when we bought the year pass but still.

That's the killer for me too. I'd rather spend $30-$40K on an ICE sport/muscle car than what a Tesla costs.

Then calculate your maintenance and fuel costs…it can add up - especially if your vehicle isn’t stock
Add in any tuning where Tesla can get it over the air in minutes for a fraction of the costs

I was the same way..then I drove in one and fell in love, instantly. Come out and drive one. Tesla does not have dealerships par say. Zero pressure to purchase as they are not commissioned employees. I do however, want one of their jackets they get to wear

At least you can mod a regular car. You can't do shit to an EV, and all Teslas look the same. I get it, it's function over form, but they are so boring to look at. The only thing exciting about them is the acceleration. Sorry, not sorry. :p

As for the Challenger, the only stuff I might ever do to it would be a bumper swap for the nice lines on the higher end ones, and maybe an exhaust. I doubt it though. Probably just stay stock.

I have a friend who moved to go work for them. She offered to give me a referral? Not sure what that does, but I'm just not interested in spending the money they cost to have a super fast, but soulless, car with no repair facility anywhere even remotely close.

Many drop them, different abeles and tires too. You can add performance to them (suspension, software updates) track mode to adjust power ratios - and all the fun tech they have. Best stock stereo system I’ve ever heard.
I’m not into lowering them, but some look sexy asf when done correctly.

Have you heard them stock? They sound pretty decent completely stock, and after doing a cat back on my WRX I learned I don't like the 500 piece systems they put on cars.

General rule: if you lower your car and you're not competing with it you need to have a flat brim, vape, and think having prison sex isn't gay.

They discontinued referrals a few years back. Basically, both parties could get free SC’g miles. Some night the model S when SC’g was free for life. In other words, $0 to full charge. (Free fuel in ICE terms).
It’s rare would you need to see a service center for repairs, and if so- most likely warrantied (warranty varies based on model but some, such as mine even warranty the power train for 8 years). They have Tesla mobile where they come to you for anything they can do mobile. For example, there was a tsb on the charging pins (?) they came to my house and swapped it out for me

In person, I'm not so sure I have. But it is no exaggeration when I say that I have spent hours upon hours listening to any and all vehicle exhaust videos including challengers and I just want to say I will pitch in $100 towards a Kooks full headers back system for you.

Or just on the road but not modded. I've heard several, plus sound clips, and they are tasteful. I'm not big on setting off car alarms with my exhaust.

These look great. You would never want it in our weather and roads though

Besides that, no other manufacturer can touch their tech imo
