Oh no. Do you think it will survive? I saw that you had some nasty weather. Hope that was the worst of the damage

What’s funny is the tops are light weight compared to commercial griddles. 3/8” vs 7/8-1” thick. I hated lifting those and resetting them, and those ones are very short and stalky placed on top of a low boy refrigerated base so it was all super stable.

I got the drip bucket to kind of hang back on there, but idk if any of the heating mechanics are damaged. I’ll fire it up this weekend and see!

Just make sure the burners are still seated over the orfices, and hopefully the air shutters didn’t get jostled around

I’ll take a drive in it, or any new Tesla coming.
Whether we like it or not, EV’s will be eventually all over as ICE vehicles are phased out. Tesla is setting the standard for EV’s, IMO. Their power, and tech have been top notch for most

I don't disagree with any of this either.
I'll take a drive in any of them. And Tesla has certainly set the bar for spec and performance. And EV will be where the world goes to push out the "devil" ICE.

I just don't believe the extolled virtues of EV are really there over ICE. We haven't solved the problem - we've merely deferred dealing with it. The energy still has to be produced. The resources still have to be spent. We've just picked new precious (and non-renewable) resources that we have to use to generate and store that energy. And shifted where the emissions, pollution, and waste are being generated.

And a very small group of people (private and "public") are making an insane amount of money on it - while the rest of us are still stuck footing the bill. </political rant>

Lol, come on man, not everyone is compensating! I actually think it looks pretty cool. My only issues are I prefer more rubber and it most likely has big spacers to make the lift instead of 6" lift coilovers.

Yeah, you can tell looking at it that it's not a build done for use, but appearances. It's phony and so it gets the jokes.

The Tundra I went to originally buy was done up similarly. They didn't have it shown that way on their website and didn't have it priced with the 8 grands mark up for shitty spacers either. I showed the guy the add on the website and said "That's the truck I came to buy and got confirmation was here. How long will it take for you to get all that bullshit off of it?" Wound up taking them all day to find the truck I bought from another dealer.

I was fine just going with the JMB test method, but I think I’ll be careful and inspect all the stuff under the flat top beforei kick it on

That seems like such a dumb thing to do. Do they really think people will be like, "Wow! This looks so cool I don't mind paying way more than I had planned!" ?

Im not a fan of the design, at all. I am a fan of it being able to tow 14k pounds and has a 0-60 of 2.8. That’s pretty damn impressive

Full send is ok, it’s just propane…….
A open orifice will just shoot out yellow flames, and not super dangerous just kinda exciting!
Also when you do get it started, yellow tips aren’t the best combustion for heating, you can adjust the air shutter at each burner(right where it goes over the orifice, but usually the shutters have a set screw, so it shouldn’t have moved) blue flame is the best and will result it less soot and better heat.

Haha sorry to nerd out on propane and propane accessories, at one point that used to be my life! Well just a small portion, but I’d get down, I kinda liked working on hot equipment every once in a while, a nice break from the low temp shit.

Ahhh makes sense. Here is the last frontier thing I will post so I don't clutter up this thread like it's my own vehicle thread lol. One of the best off-road reviews I've seen done on any vehicle

Clutter away. This is a general social space for conversation. If the conversation happens to be about vehicles, so be it. Besides, I tried doing a separate thread and titled it appropriately, but that draws out the fuck boy responses like "are we really discussing the Frontier on a Tundra forum" type shit. This thread title doesn't draw them in.

There’s SC’s everywhere most places…and with the adapter you can charge at other charging stations. SC’g will will prob get you near full in 20-30 mins or so. Just really depends on your battery depletion and if that charging station charging speeds
