Happy Sunday evening. I scored another 4 hours in the driveway today. Not sure how I lucked out, but got a ton of stuff done. Mostly getting the trailer cleaned up from last weekend, but finished my Tundra tasks. She's officially ready for winter. Glad I finished the paint sealant yesterday as the rain returned tonight.

Wish I'd gone for a drive...nothing beats a nice cruise in a freshly polished truck.

Question: when you clean/polish and such, what precautions to you take around your vinyl decals? I ask because I've not added a decal that I have, and I want to be sure I don't eff it up once it's on there.

 

It's been a helluva night. My brain is liquefied. I am clocking out.

 

I don't do anything...just run them over. The flag on the other side of my truck is starting to lose a few stars (hopefully of the states I don't like LOL), so I'll have to replace it next spring. When I apply decals I first remove the wax from the vehicle so it adheres directly to the paint. Other than that, they don't get any special treatment.

Winter is coming.

 

I think you single-handily have removed Wyoming as a possible retirement location. Blasted thru the state a few years ago going from MT to CO. Wanted to do a trip back at some point to check the state out, but your pictures of cold weather this early and all the snow you had last spring have changed my mind...maybe....

 

We got a touch of frost the night before last. It's unusual to get that cold this early, though.

 

LMAO. Not my intent, but we are a high elevation desert. Snow can happen any day of the year. It snowed in June this year, twice. Just the way it goes here.

 

Tonight is my last of the week.

Plan for the 7 days off:

• Get a couple packages mailed out.
• First maintenance on the Quadzilla will be done, and get to run the hell out of it with out worrying about the break in. Gonna be fun.
• Visit my Brother and his family.
• Sushi. I need more of this in my life.
• The hunt for ammo is never ending.
• Possibly install the front ABS guards and rear diff breather relo kit.
• Bath and brush the dog. She needs it badly and groomers are idiots.
• Buzz my head again. Digging the bald thing. Such low maintenance.
• Avoid the insane amount of out of staters who are certainly going to invade for the holiday weekend.

Have a great week off. Think I'm going to float some comp time to Friday and take a four-day weekend. We're just lounging as we refuse to travel on the holiday weekends. Normally it is just a zoo.
