Next year I'll be repainting the trim on my house and replacing the trim that needs to be replaced. Maybe installing new gutters stopping the house too.

This year I am replacing the roof over my deckIMG_20190723_231601.jpgStaining my deck....
    IMG_20190729_145342.jpg
And have power washed my driveway, back patio, and starting to do the house. I'm also working on my garden... Trying to get a green thumb of some kind so my house has better curb appeal. Once I got that handled it be easier to maintain.

That's quite the list! I am replacing trim and siding this year. Then painting the whole house. All new experience so going slow to make sure I do it right. Buddy is a contractor so he's been very helpful over text and phone calls with advise. Hopefully be done soon.

Hunting season....another reason I'm ready for fall. Had 2 bucks cross the road in front of me yesterday, didn't get a tine count on the first but the second was a nice 8, both in full velvet

Kool. Just curious, out west a buck with four on a side for example is considered a 4 point. Of course there are non-typical racks which confuses things a bit. I'm getting a leftover buck permit. Pretty much too late for a bull elk permit. I missed the cutoff date for the official Colorado draw. :frusty:
I love grouse hunting and that's coming up in September.

I was told it depends on what side of the Mississippi river you're on. If talking mulie or white tail. But I have never been given a good answer other than a regional thing. I prefer our method as opposed to east coast method, but I may be a little biased.

We measure by how many points total, so a 4x4 would be an eight here, unless non typical.

Thanks! Too me a while to find one I liked. I think I irritated the poor girl behind the counter. Lol
My siding is good (thank freaking God) but I have some trim that is rotting and it definitely needs to be replaced. AMD whoever painted the trim before SUCKED so I may have to paint the freaking house too.

These are just examples of the shit in my house. DON'T EVER LOOK AT A HOUSE IN THE DARK UNLESS YOU SEE IT ALL DURING THE DAY TOO!

Yup, and in my state that's 4 point. Only time we count tines is when it's a 3x4, 4x5, etc. and not symmetrical. But we have size restrictions in my state, do you as well?

I’d love to get out West for an Elk Hunt, still trying the Maine moose lottery, but don’t have any real hope on that

Oh I can relate. I am finding half assed repairs all over the place that I am fixing correctly so I can make it look better. Potentially putting mine on the market soon.

In VA it's total points. Rule of thumb is if you can hang a ring on it, it's a point.
