It's an awesome spot, right on the edge of a 200ft cliff. Here's the same spot from Sunday but I got a little closer to the edge this time.IMG_20190317_143854.jpg

That’s a pretty good price. What makes it worth it is that is also includes cleaning up the flower beds and pulling weeds.

Well, after a long day at the hospital, my wife had her spinal fusion earlier this evening. They took piece of bone out of the big hip blade bone and used that along with a couple of pins and some screws to fuse the top two vertebrae. All titanium hardware. The neurosurgeon said that it was successful. She’ll be in much better shape than she previously was and a lot of her constant headaches should go away once the pain from the procedure goes away. She’s trying not to push the pain button but we’re all telling her to do it.
She’ll be in a neck brace for 6 weeks.
They moved a hospital recliner into her room so I can spend the night with her. She should be out in a day or two depending on pain management. For a while, she can only ride in a car for 10 minutes at a time and then get out and move around so as not to develop blood clots, so we’ll have to stop a few times on the way home.
This is on top of the shoulder replacement that she had last September. And a hip replacement might be on the horizon in another year or so. This is all ultimately the results of the debilitating rheumatoid arthritis that she’s had for about 30 years. That shit is an absolute bone destroyer. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
For now, she’s going in the right direction, which is all we can hope for.
She’s a wonderful best friend, woman, wife, mother and grandmother. We got married in our teens and have been happily married for over 42 years. I don’t know what I’d ever do without her.

That’s good to hear that the surgery was successful. Now, for the healing process. Congratulations on 42 years of marriage. Don’t find that too often nowadays. My wife and I are going on 29 years.
You obviously love her very much and that’s awesome! Here’s to a speedy recovery for your wife!

Both of my boys are helping each other install their Cali Raised fogs. They aren't even fighting with each other.
Dad hat is back on, they better put my flucking tools back from where they got them!
