Actually depending where you are you can see Russia from your house. In the winter you can walk to Russia. A short hike on the frozen Bering Sea from Little Diomede,AK to Big Diomede, Ruskie Land.

She was absolutely correct from a military strategic viewpoint which she was implying. It's amazing how many people took it literally. Actually Russia is in everyone's backyard up there...hence F-22 Strike Fighter Squadrons.. Nukes up north....

In my case the judge told my lawyer to call his lawyer and his office said he was on his way. because of that the judge reset the date. :(:angrygirl:

Otherwise if that wasn't the case.... She would have ruled in my favor. But its the judges choice. Though i think she wants to yell at said other party. She did it once before 2 years ago and she doesn't care fir him. She also loves my attorney.

I've determined what the "big" purchase will be for the Tundy.

Been looking at ways to camp out of the truck and the CrewMax bed is just a little too short for me. I've always been a fan of VW Camper Vans and their pop-tops. After doing some research I stumbled upon Go Fast Campers.

Pricing starts at $5,000 and the unit weighs around 200lbs. I'm sure on the Tundra it'll be a tiny bit heavier.

I'm looking forward to seeing them in-person at Overland Expo West. This would allow me to camp almost anywhere and not have to deal with the ground tent. I also like how the sides can hinge up or be removed if desired. Time to start saving my pennies.

Anyone need a Slate Metallic Camper Shell?
    ;)

ole money bags over here. IMO for that much i'd have to buy something bigger (towable). seems a bit much for what is essentially a tent, power to ya if it's what ya want .

When you add up the cost of a nice bed rack and quality hard shell roof top tent it's going to be similar (heavier too). The GFC allows you to enter from the bed and have "living" area thanks to the transform-a-floor. Sure - I could spend $5000 on a trailer but that would limit the trails I could go on, kill my gas mileage, and require me to store it somewhere.

Good sir! Tundra and gas mileage do not go hand-in-hand.

Of course.. but if I have control of keeping it around 14.5MPG I will. Doesn't make sense (to me) to spend that money and see the mileage tank as well.

Unfortunately even one of those wouldn't be able to get to the camp sites I'm trying to in the San Juans.

@Almaboy is selling his RTT and bed rack for $2,000 . . . option?

Would consider it but don't want something I have to climb in from the outside. Also need more usable space than a standard RTT.

Edit: With the GFC camper I can work from wherever thanks to the transform-a-floor. It doubles as a seating area down below.
