The 22 came out with squared lines reminiscent of the original Hardbody. It certainly caught my eye. The recent Hardbody trim was nifty. Retro wheels! These trucks are solid and the price point is hard to beat.

 

My wife went into the backyard 45 minutes ago, without comment, and started working on my yardwork to-do list.

I think she wants this new ranch house we’re looking at.

Now wife is dicing up all of the garden zucchini and vacuum sealing it. While humming and smiling. While doing laundry upstairs. Daughter is sleeping in.

this shit just got real.

 

Quick update, got word yesterday afternoon that I wasn't selected for in person interviews with the place I interviewed with on Thursday. Not surprising as we didn't really click during the interview. I know it's an interview but they really came across as cold and overly formal. I think I mentioned that in my previous post.

I found out later that they had just gone through a massive reorg so maybe I dodged a bullet.

I did receive some feedback that I will put to use for my upcoming interview this Tuesday. I'm glad I got the chance to knock some rust off going into this next interview.

One thing I really like about this place I'm interviewing with this coming Tuesday is that they run a 4/10 schedule. It makes scheduling doctor appointments much easier. I also like having all weekends be 3 day weekends.

 

She's gonna be paying cash for her (I mean your guys') new home...

 

Seems like this next interview may have a lot of positives. I know I love my 4 day work weeks.

 

She seems to be enjoying the manscaping too much for that to happen. So there’s a little hope that just the house gets traded up.

PS: if she has access to a saw, her hole doesn't have to be as big.

I don't know that I'd like working 4/10s. As it is, I'm up at 5:30 to get to work on time and not home until after 5 working 8 and a quarter hours.

I would absolutely jump at the chance to work 4-10's again. Best schedule ever.

Sounds like Edmonton. A life spent in traffic. I hated my time there for trade school.
