    You just wait
I know you are supposed to try something before you say you don't like it but I am extremely confident I wouldn't like them and I refuse to try them lol.

Just got back from La Jara. A small town 12 miles south of me, 20 minutes just north of New Mexico. Fresh roasted Hatch chiles! Roasted outside in front of the store. Got a bushel of mild and hot. I didn't order Xtra hot, but the box they were in was labeled X-hot. They are. Just tried one. Ha. Lot of vacuum sealing to do.

Yep, nothing better than Hatch. These are authentic from Hatch, New Mexico. The soil in that specific area makes Hatch chiles unique over any other place. Certified True "Hatch" chiles.

There used to be restaurant not far from Bodega Bay on the Sonoma County coast in a tiny town called Valley Ford that I would occasionally stop off at for some drinks and Oysters Rockefeller that was pretty good. They also served an assortment of fresh oysters on the half shell. I haven't been there in probably over 10 years. I wonder if they are still around.

No shame in it but some of you folks are stuck in a mac & cheese and chicken tenders diet when it comes to any sort of variety in food.

On another note, @Azblue , que paso amigo, how are things going? Lost track of this thread yesterday and not sure where things landed with your "purge".

Chili relleno's for the win! Going make up a batch of pork green chile tonight and vacuum freeze the rest. Got enough to last until next season.
