    I love spicy food. Since I don't drink, it is the closest thing out there to a buzz as I can get. Anyone who has eaten and enjoys really spicy food can attest to the fact it gives you a head rush and awakens your senses. It actually increases my appetite. The problem is the following morning...But it usually kicks off in the middle of the night which is no bueno...

    When my wife and I first got together, she insisted that mild salsa wasn't hot enough and I absolutely had to buy medium.

    A couple weeks ago, she gave me shit for buying medium instead of mild because it's too hot.

    Thai chili's, Scotch bonnet's, Habanero's are the spice level I like. Basically Asian/Indian level spiciness.

    It's probably too spicy for the average American pallet. Mexican food to me is not spicy at all. Some of the salsa's can be but the heat usually is drowned out by the cheese, sour cream, etc...Heavy, greasy food really benefits from a higher spice level imo.

    I'm also not trying to eat Ghost Peppers or any of the engineered hot chili peppers.

    As far as sauces are concerned, for everyday use I like Cholula and Tapatio. Tobasco is more flavored vinegar to me than hot sauce. Sriracha can be really sugary and garlicky which is ok for some foods but not something I throw on everything.

    I like hot shit.

    Usually 3 out of 5 spice level at Thai restaurants.

    Tabasco/Sriracha is just flavor for me, barely registers as spicy

    I work for Olin chemicals in charleston tn. Depending on the day/night I either load tanker trucks with sodium hypochlorite (bleach), sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, or hydrochloric acid, we also load railcars with same products plus liquid chlorine and from time to time unload sulfuric acid. we have a small railyard per say that we also move said railcars around to spot and load/unload, clean for recertification, repair or just to use again. Every now and then we load or unload barge's of potassium or sodium hydroxide. Some days are busy and your loading a bunch of trucks/railcars, some days you may see a truck or 2 maybe none. It all pays the same either way. There are other areas that are involved in the making of all the products minus the sulfuric. We dont make that. Dangerous job..... could be if your not paying attention or wearing you PPE but probably one of the best jobs the Lord has blessed me with! A months rotation is 4 nights, on call 3 days, 3 day shifts, on call 1 day, 3 nights, on call 3 days, 4 day shifts then 7 off and no obligation to answer my phone. We get alot of training days on our 7s though. Fire brigade, confined space, hazwapper to name some. If I plan vacation on my 4 days I usually get about 2 weeks off since my 7 off is after my 4 days:yay:

    Tapatio had been our go-to hot sauce, and it had been hot to me, but I have a tolerance to it now;

    Medium salsa is spicy but not hot;

    Hot salsa is indeed hot to me, but I like it;

    When eating sushi, I will add enough wasabi to make the soy sauce a thick paste, looking for the eye-watering adrenaline rush.

    So I like hot, especially with fresh sushi
